Failed execution
Y'all... I tried to finish this, I really did, but after maybe 7 or so episodes, I just had enough.Actually, when I first started watching this, I was really invested because it had such an interesting premise, and I liked the two main leads (never watched any of ML's drama's I think but I watched HYJ's from like... 10 years ago lol). However, after the FL revealed to the ML the secret, it all just went downhill for me.
Everything just felt forced, and the more I watched on, the more it was evident to me that the two main leads just did not have any chemistry, which was a serious pain because they apparently already fell in love by the 7th episode and we weren't even halfway through the series yet (which normally, is totally fine, but again, no chemistry = painful to watch). The FL really grated on my nerves with her bumbling personality and her constant shocked/worried face and after watching one more episode, I was done with her antics.
I personally wouldn't recommend this, but maybe a good time waster for those that want to go for it.

My only problem with this drama is the ending of it. Not all questions are answered so you can feek kind of lost or even abandoned by the writer. Anyway, besides this little trouble at the end, it's a must watch drama for sure!

High points for originality! In drama land. It was more complex and challenged you to think instead of spoon feeding you. I love it! Suspenseful as heck.
Acting on point! Female leads need to be able to bring me in and Han Hyo Joo did a brilliant job! She suffered so much but she pulled through. LJK is beautiful and truly fits his idealistic Manhua looks. MVP is DAD! He made this show a thriller! San bong and Mad dog were such needed life lines in this heavy hitter. Hugs!
Writernim - you can shoot a movie, an American show (with series) and do what ever you want now cause I respect your originality. W may not be perfect but it was a brilliant move towards the right direction. Hopefully one that more dramas would step towards. Your skill of taking an used group and then spin it a fresh is also much appreciated.
Direction: exceed expectations. I liked she was pretty alright but this brings it up another level!
Production: deserves an award! Movie level lighting and Sound (expected from signal music director!) Special Effects team deserve an award!
Manhua team! I want a hard copy like Now. Pretty please XD

W is one of the best dramas!
This shows ratings.... no MOST of theses dramas ratings are not right! They are rated way to low and so is this one.I have watched this drama 3 times now. Twice on my own and once with the family. They LOVED it! So much to the story and so many twists and turns! The first time watching it... I was on edge! Told the fam to leave me be so I could finish it. 😂🤣 One of the best dramas out there to watch!
The acting was spot on and I am just amazed at how well Koreans can tell a story and the emotion they show throughout each one! I am hooked on Kdramas forever! So many good ones out there!

W stands for WASTE of potential
Such an legendary concept that touches upon a popular fictional character coming to the real-world, falling in love with his creator's daughter while they fight against pre-destined fate to avoid a multidimensional killer AND somehow it became a static, boring drama that dragged relentlessly.I watched this drama twice and I was still confused. There were so many things that happened that were left unanswered. All the characters were also so one-dimensional. Yeah they were serving some serious face cards, especially the ML but they had nothing else going for them. They had no chemistry and honestly, the FL was very annoying.

Storia interessante, personaggi pure, luogo bè è lo stesso di molti drama che ho visto; ma vorrei dire che l'idea utilizzata mi è sembrata un pò troppo "americana" che è risultato una pazzesca. Complimenti allo scenografo e al produttore, che ha saputo gestire un coordinamento diverso dal solito; ideare una serie/fumetto che si può anche visitare, non è per niente male; i due personaggi principali non mi hanno fatto impazzire ma sono stati bravi. Per l'antagonista devo ammettere che sono rimasta stupita quando ho scoperto chi era, a parte l'altro "cattivo" che era stato creato del fumettista, personaggio del drama. Non è stato un granchè, per il resto del cast, secondo me serviva per riempire 16 puntate... lo so che è un brutto giudizio per il cast ma io la penso in questo modo.
Ora spero che nascano altri drama korean di questo stile anche per qualche altra storia.
