The Great Shaolin Episode 14

Wen Dao and Zhen Zhen conduct a symbolic wedding in her room at the Plum brothel. But, Wen Dao admits to Zhen Zhen he cannot protect her and just as he is about to voice the name of the man who could protect her, Mr. Smile and his ruffians burst into her room. Wen Dao fights violently, but is overwhelmed by the ruffians. Zhen Zhen bites and claws away from Mr. Smile. In the courtyard of the Plum brothel, Jian Xiong is delayed by Madam Gu – pretending she doesn’t know who Cheng Wen Dao is and also unaware they have been assaulted by Mr. Smile. Finally, their location is given away by one of the servants and Jian Xiong quickly puts an end to Mr. Smile’s night. Wen Dao surprises Jian Xiong by expressing relief and gratitude for his arrival, after all, he is the one man who can protect Zhen Zhen. Wen Dao entrusts Zhen Zhen to Jian Xiong with virtue completely intact. Jian Xiong, is persuaded not to kill Wen Dao - perhaps mostly by his desire to not turn Zhen Zhen against him.
