Zhen Hao and his family return to Beijing with a heavy heart. The house loses its usual warmth. Zhen Hao pulls a long face every day. Song Xiao Zhuang finds out that the wedding is off and thinks she has a chance again. Her parents say if Zhen Hao marries Xiao Zhuang, they will give their shop, Song's Claypot, as her dowry. Upon seeing how depressed her brother is, Zhen Xin tries to ask him if he will divorce Jia Yu, but he chases her out in anger. Jia Yu cries every day in Taipei, feeling hopeless about her marriage. Jia Yu's parents watch and feel worried. They don't want her to divorce at such a young age, either. At this point, Jia Yu's cousin Cao Shu Feng looks for Zhen Hao and gives Jia Yu's ring back to him. Zhen Hao is shocked. This is not the outcome he wants. After Cao Shu Feng counsels him, Zhen Hao knows what to do. He goes to Taipei again, to the surprise of the Chen family. With emotion and logic, he asks Jia Yu's parents not to split them up. In the end, he manages to convince them. Zhen Hao and Jia Yu reconcile and return to Beijing together.
