Jia Yu's parents find out their daughter has a boyfriend in Beijing. They are furious. Her mom threatens to go on a hunger strike. Liu Hui Rong doesn't show respect for Jia Yu at the hospital, making her feel awkward. After pacifying his mom, Zhen Hao has to pacify Jia Yu. Song Xiao Zhuang follows him to Jia Yu's hotel. She states that Chen Jia Yu and Zhen Hao are not compatible due to all their differences. Zhen Hao grew up in an alley in Beijing, drinking mung bean milk. But Chen Jia Yu is from Taiwan, and doesn't understand Beijing at all. Even if they get married, it won't last long. Song Xiao Zhuang's words agitate Chen Jia Yu. She politely tells Song Xiao Zhuang they have considered these problems, which can be overcome with love. No one seems to approve of Jia Yu and Zhen Hao's relationship, yet their love is unaffected.
