Beautiful Gong Shim Episode 3 Reactions
Actress Min Ah as Gong Shim has definitely become a favorite of mine. Her comedic timing is perfect, and the thing is Gong Shim is mostly dark and . . . creepy. I don't know. She's quiet and serious, and somehow Min Ah makes it amazing. So when Gong Shim is big and loud it blows you away!
Normally I'm not for love triangles, but I like this one! We're getting a great character development that makes you feel for them as individuals. Which is the point as this show is about whether outer or inner beauty is more important. What's is even more important is that there is no insta-love. At this point there might be a budding crush/minor interest on some fronts. I love a slow build up!
Gong Mi is definitely turning into a typical villainess as she stalks Joon Soo. When someone told her about the concept of husband hunting she took it to mean the extreme! No really. Forget about developing Gong Mi and her work place issue! We're seeing the claws come out. I think my dreams of sisterly affection are definitely brutally murdered in this episode.
Beautiful Gong Shim's writers have out done themselves with the level of writing here! Comedy, character devlopemnet with well realized characters, and I even have faith that they might pull a fast one on viewers about the kidnapped son bit. (Hey, a girl can dream!) Even if they don't pull a twist it's still great writing. I'm beyond impressed with the cast here! Everyone plays off each other so well.
