Hello, My Twenties! Episode 4 Reactions
Actually I like that while each episode lets each girls' story continue all together each episode is dedicated to one character at a time. It's very smart and helps keep the girls connected as a whole, but moving individual stories along in more depth.
This is Jin Myeong's episode and it was deep. She knew why he was looking at her! She was crushing on him too. It's the fear of making yourself weak to let someone in that can kill something before it even begins. Even if that boss did some thy grabbing it doesn't mean it's the same as selling yourself. Sure she chose to keep quiet, but that's another kind of fear.
The emotional impact of fingernail falling off. The actress playing Jin Myeong really brought it. When realization that her brother pulled through I knew what she was feeling. The pain of her brother stuck like that unable to move on. The actress playing her mom did a wonderful job as well.
It's moving that despite the drama between them the girls have formed friendships. They're staying loyal to each other. Even though Yi Na and Ye Eun think they hate each other. When Yi Na stood up for Ye Eun after her boyfriend tossed her out of the care I was so happy! Yi Na didn't hesitate to stand up for her even if they were estranged. It was also moving that Ye Eun, even though she was angry, brought blankets in! So cute.
They all miss each other even though they're shopping for new roommates the other girls are trying to persuade Ye Eun. ^_- I love that Yi Na was brave enough to say that she wanted to move back in. I love how fearless and honest she can be.
Though I'm wondering what the real connection is with that creepy guy and Yi Na. Whatever her secret with the water is, I think he has a closer connection to her than a private eye/detective.
That said I love how this episode is showing how these girls have become friends. Despite there own odds. I'm wondering how Ye Eun will take seeing her relationship through someone else's eyes? I love this show and I'm happy to be part of their lives through it! It makes me laugh and feel the emotions that we all go through. I'm convinced that even if you can't relate to all of the girls viewers will identify with more than one.
So this is a pass! I'll be continuing this wonderful show.
