Shopaholic Louis Episode 8 Reactions
OMG I'M DYING THAT KISS WAS PERFECT. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. I LOVED THE PART LEADING UP TO IT. THE WAY HE WAS LOOKING AT HER WHILE HIS FACE KEPT GETTING CLOSER. HOW HIS HAND FOUND HERS AND HE JUST HELD IT WHILE HE KISSED HER. SO FUCKING SWEET I LOVE IT. SEO IN GUK WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?
okay... i can breathe now
I've seen comments of people that don't like his character's personality. I, however, immensely enjoy it. I find his childlike innocence incredibly endearing, cute and also understandable when you take into account how sheltered he was while growing up. I like how he's slowly learning the way the world works (even though he still has a long way to go), the value of work and money, etc. Plus, even though he has always been spoiled and treated like a king, he is still very caring and kind and he does everything to protect those he loves even though he might not be quite competent (THAT NIGHT WITH THE LIGHT SABER THAT I'M 100% SURE HE GOT BECAUSE HE WANTED TO PROTECT BOK SIL FROM THE SERIAL KILLER WITH IT I MEAN HOW FUCKING SWEET useless BUT SWEET GODBLESS). Also, when guided, he puts in a lot of effort in the work that he does.
I just really like Louis okay?
People also hate on the second male lead because he's old. Yes, he's old when you put him side by side Bok Sil and Louis, but he cares about them. At first, he really annoyed me with his explosive and commanding/controlling attitude, but now I'm okay with him. He has good intentions. He's still no competition for Louis, obviously. People hate his outfits too, but I don't mind them. I find it weirdly fitting that he would wear such ridiculous outfits, while having the personality he does. It's a nice contrast.
I love the editing the do. It's the little details that perfect the experience of each episode.
I like how the antagonists are slightly incompetent. It maintains the lighthearted feel of the drama. I mean Ma Ri's mom nailed it for me on that previous episode, she still doesn't know why her husband was so mad.
I'm anticipating what will happen when Louis is found/recovers his memory. I think he has a little more maturing to do if he's ever going to face the Chairman that tried to kill him and probably killed Bok Sil's brother instead.
