A reverse romantic comedy about a "shotgun romance" that begins with a one-night stand between a man and a woman who both vowed never to get married in this lifetime.

Kang Du Jun, a seemingly perfect second-generation chaebol from head to toe. Having decided that marriage was not in the cards for this life, he lives for his remaining family and company in place of his deceased older brother. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he becomes entangled with Jang Hui Won after a wild one-night fling.

Jang Hui Won, a career woman who scores 100 in work but 0 in romance. Scarred by her parents’ divorce and a harsh upbringing under a cold, critical mother, she has shut herself off from the idea of marriage and embraced singlehood by choice. But her carefully structured life faces an unforeseen twist following that one impulsive night.

Both of these dramas have something in common, not in terms of the story, but in terms of the vibe. If you've seen both of them, you'll get it.

These two TBS dramas are definitely cousins!
Both are slice-of-life dramas that address the modern malaise of trying to find your place in a world where you don't quite fit in, all while navigating the ups and downs of love and life.
In both dramas, the female lead is a quirky young woman who often over-thinks and over-analyzes situations, which sometimes puts her at odds with other characters/society. Unsatisfied with her career, she decides to make a major life change early in the drama. Both are “everyone has their own story” kind of dramas where even the most minor character is important.

Both dramas explore nontraditional relationships between quirky, emotionally reserved adults in modern workspaces. If you enjoyed Wotakoi’s light tone, gentle romance, and commentary on compatibility over chemistry, The Full-Time Wife Escapist gives a slightly more grounded but equally charming take on love as negotiation, not just passion.
