Episode Title: Conspiracy
The emperor has suddenly gone blind. A foreign alchemist, Ran Bing Luan, claims that he has the cure for the emperor's illness. Zi Yi asks Yi Pin to investigate him. Yi Pin finds out that the prescription provided by Bing Luan is poisonous. Zi Yi and the others decide to break into the palace and stop the emperor from taking the medicine. The emperor orders Yi Pin to look into the prescription. Ruo Xin interrogates the medicine tester, Wen Xi, late at night and kills him by accident. The emperor orders Ruo Xin to be exiled, and Yi Pin and the others ask to be exiled with her. Bing Luan and Lord Ning are attempting to offer the medicine to the emperor again when Yi Pin suddenly shows up and exposes the conspiracy behind the medicine. (Source: Viu)
