Liu Ruo Xin stops the magistrate from closing the case and points out the various questionable things about it. The magistrate finds her analysis very reasonable and thus agrees to her request to release Zhuang Tian Tian on bail for further investigation. In searching for clues to clear Zhuang Tian Tian's name, Liu Ruo Xin and Zhu Yi Pin visit the Si Lang Academy to ask the author to testify for Zhuang Tian Tian.
