Princess is the Nangek in both dramas,and they both fall for a common man.

Both dramas are fast-paced but if you were to compare the two story wise then TCP may be the better choice since its done to almost perfection while MSJ is more of a trainwrecky soap opera alike.

The princess in TCP is badass and fights her own battles and doesn`t let anyone step over her while the princess in MSJ is more weak when it comes to standing up for herself.

Both dramas have a dark edge to it,enemies becomes allies,while allies becomes enemies.Betrayal and greed is everywhere while everyone longs for the throne.

Just like Never let me go is about the romance between a rich young master and his bodyguard, Crown princess is the romance between a princess and her bodyguard. Kinda like the straight version of Never let me go.

The romance in The Crown Princess is similar - with its very restrained noble love, "never step out of line before we're free to be together" vibe, but it's more extreme in the Crown Princess. Both involve court intrigue, military men, lovely costumes, and couples determined to put the whole kingdom before their own love interests. Crown Princess is a hate-to-love, but Legend is not.

FL is also a princess, who will be the crown princess later in the story.
ML is a soldier and bodyguard to FL, who will protect her all the way.
The main differences are that SJJ is a period drama and its characters have some supernatural power as far as its aired episodes.
