Spoils of War
During the reign of Emperor Ren Zong of Song, the General of Zhenbei, Ye Zhao, defended the border for 8 years with countless military achievements. After winning the battle against Liao, the Emperor summons Ye Zhao back to the capital. After disguising as a boy her entire life, Ye Zhao decides to make her true gender known to the Emperor, who discusses with Empress Dowager how best to reward her military feats.
