Episode Title: Royal Schemes
Xi Yin sets off to Western Xia with Prince Ha Er Dun, and during their rest stop, she sends her servant to deliver a message to Ye Zhao. Ye Zhao continues to be ill, and Concubine Yang informs her mother-in-law of her sickness and infertility. Angry, the mother-in-law forces Ye Zhao to allow Yu Jin to bed Concubine Yang in hopes of producing an heir. Hu Qing sends a message to Ye Zhao, urging her to see the military doctor for her ailments.
