Episode Title: Back and Forth
The Empress realizes she was used by Prince Qi’s wife to hurt the Emperor, but it’s too late. She is punished accordingly. Qiu Lao Hu entreats Ye Zhao to find husbands for his daughters while he helps Minister Fan at the border. Minister Fan is successful in driving away Western Xia and defending the border, so he is summoned back to the capital. The Emperor looks for a new general to keep the border safe, and Ye Zhao is still recuperating from her illness.
