Episode Title: Where the Danger Lies
The Empress of Xia becomes jealous of Xi Yin after seeing her cavorting with the Emperor. Xi Yin uses the Empress’s jealousy and the Consort’s ambition to set a clever trap for the Empress. Minister Fan enlists the help of her sister to monitor Prince Qi’s and Preceptor Liu’s men, learning where they are hiding their army. They reach out to the Consort Dowager for help, realizing the Emperor might hesitate with his blood brother’s rebellion.
