About a twins boy & girl who was born in a kingdom but having twins is a big taboo so they decide to throw away the girl in The King's Affection but in The Emperor Owner of the Mask is about a King who switching place with a poor guy & wear a mask to hide that he had a scar in his face. Both drama is my favorite saeguk/period traditional drama & must watch dramas.

In 18th-century Korea, Prince Yi San is a perfectionist haunted by his father's murder. He's set to inherit the throne once his cruel grandfather, the current king, passes away. Despite the emotional scars left by his father's death, Yi San aspires to be a benevolent ruler who reforms the kingdom's laws. At court, he encounters Sung Deok Im, a spirited and intelligent young woman. While Yi San falls in love and proposes she become his concubine, Sung Deok Im grapples with the restrictions and responsibilities that come with royal life. However, as their love deepens, she begins to see the potential to bring positive change to the troubled realm through their union.

Wang Won’s father is the king of Goryeo while his mother is the Yuan emperor’s daughter. He was born with many gifts as he has good looks, the wisdom of a snake, and a magnetic personality that draws people to him. But behind his gentle, virtuous demeanor, he has ambitions to conquer other lands. He has a faithful friend named Rin, who is a royal cousin and comrade with the same ambitions as he does. Then Wang Won has an encounter with a young woman named, San. San was someone that he recalled having met when he was a child and was lodged in his mind ever since. Wang Won sees how bright and confident San is and befriends her as well. But this friendship plants the seeds of tragedy. San’s beauty mesmerizes both Won and Rin and their seemingly strong bond start to fray over one woman

University student, Takatsuki Minato, likes things to be clean and in order while her stepbrother, Takatsuki Toru, is a bit of a player. One day, while cosplaying as a high-school student in a fashionable district in Tokyo, Minato accidentally bumps into Toru and quickly lies about her identity. To her surprise, Toru appears to take an interest in her alternate identity, Mina, and asks her out. Thinking that she might be able to cure Toru out of his playboy ways, Minato continues to disguise herself as Mina but will she be able to keep up the charade when she starts developing feelings for Toru?

Both are slower paced historical dramas . In both, the ML was poisoned when young and has built up a tolerance to it so he's able to survive a poison attempt as an adult.

Sakahira Riku, a first-year high school student, is jokingly pushed on the shoulder by his friend Tasaki while swimming by the pool, and falls into the pool with Mizumura Manami, who is next to him. The next day, when he wakes up, he finds that his body has been swapped with Manami's. Both are confused and try everything to get back to normal, but nothing works. They are forced to desperately exchange information about their families, friends, club activities, etc. in order to play the role of each other.

Both involve bringing justice for the people, and involve a bit of romance. Personally, both of the weak points in both of these dramas are the romance.

The two dramas have different dynamics. Emperor: Owner of the Mask involves the people & the palace versus the Pyungsoo group. Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People involves the rebels and the palace.

Both place the focus onto the main character who develops into a true leader.

Scholar Who Walks The Night and The Emperor: Owner of the mask have similarities. Both story is developing the crown prince to become a great King.

It's because there is a cruel person/vampire that stand behind the Kings order and the Prince were forced to serve that person/vampire in order to keep his people save.

In The Emperor: Owner of The Mask there is Daemok. In Scholar Who Walks The Night there is a vampire called Gwi.

University student K is an ordinary young woman, but, one day, she finds herself in her favorite romance novel set during historical times. She has now become the minor character Cha Seon Chaek. She is the daughter of a wealthy noble family and her dream is to have a peaceful and normal life. Cha Seon Chaek, while possessed by K, then spends one night with Lee Beon, the lead male character in the novel.

He comes from a royal lineage and is favored by the King. Lee Beon has a cold-blooded personality and is gifted with an attractive appearance and outstanding martial arts skills. He has also experienced a heartbreaking past. Somehow, Lee Beon and Cha Seon Chaek happen to meet and talk. Lee Beon is consoled by her about his heartbreaking past. They spend the night together. Soon, Cha Seon Chaek tries to connect Lee Beon to Cho Eun Ae, who is the lead female character in the novel. According to the novel, Lee Beon and Jo Eun Ae are supposed to fall in love, but, due to the appearance of Cha Seon Chaek, Cho Eun Ae's fate has changed. No matter how hard Cha Seon Chaek tries, Lee Beon’s love always finds its way back to her.

Other people around them include Jung Su Gyeom and Do Hwa Sun. Jung Su Gyeom is a young officer from a prestigious family. He is Lee Beon’s only friend. Do Hwa Sun is an ambitious woman whose life goal is to marry Lee Beon and become a member of the royal family.

Under the Power is such a lovely series I ever see...the running of story and the acting ofbthe hero look like real?this series has fulfill my needed on a drama...this series is really can make everyone happy....i really love Ren Jia Lun as LuYi??
