Summer's Desire Episode 6 Reactions
I was very excited for this drama initially. I thought it would be something different from stereotypical dramas. It actually is quite different but I am still not able to contemplate if that's in a good way or a bad way.

This is a record where I hate all three main leads. I just hate one more and one less. This episode changed my views a bit.
I still dislike Xia Mo. Barbie's acting is terrible and she is stiff in all the scenes. Playing an equally bad character doesn't help either. And what's with that wardrobe and makeup that makes her look like a ghost? I blame the acting more than the character. She is glum and hard to understand most of the times. She is ruining the drama over here. I am shocked that this is the same actress that I happened to like in Meteor Garden! Her skills seemed to have gone downhill within a decade.
If there was a competition between Ou Chen and Luo Xi it is hard to guess who would be the winner of 'Biggest Bastard' award (excuse my language). Does screwed past means you have to stoop low? I am talking about Ou Chen here. All sympathy I tried to muster for him has exhausted now.
Luo Xi is not that bad a character but the actor has no talent whatsoever. At least Peter Ho playing Ou Chen can show at least a few emotions.
About the relationship between Luo Xi and Xia Mo- where do I begin? They are one of the most annoying couples of dramaland. The actors have no chemistry whatsoever. All they ever do is have the same conversation over and over or make out and act like they're in love. It goes like:
Luo Xi: "You're mine"
Xia Mo: *nods*
*start making out*
Seriously??! I would kick the guy if he ever treated me like I was a possession or a prize to show off. Talk about unhealthy relationships.
Luo Xi: My life sucks. I was abandoned. I am sad.
Xia Mo: We're orphans. We're doomed... our life will always be like this!
Luo Xi: Oh, you're mine!
Xia Mo: Yes
*start making out*
Do you see a recurring theme in here? *insert sarcasm* Awesome. Makes my day. ^_^
It's been 6 DAMN episodes and where is the character development? I swear if this plot doesn't improve I'll make sure to give it the lowest scores I ever gave to a drama.
