Another thing this drama was missing was the acting. Literally everyone EXCEPT the two main characters could act. It was so frustrating yet entertaining at the same. They gave two supporting actors the main roles, and it failed miserably. You can't look me in my eye and say that the production of this drama was good, you just can't.. The editing was so bad. It looked like they edited it iMovie or did not edit at all. Sometimes the music would be louder than what the characters were saying.. They found a xylophone sound and could NOT stop using it. Can we talk about the baby for a second? He was literally the cutest thing, but WHY did they have to edit that fake laugh track in?? Also, why was Yumi always falling?? Is she THAT weak? There wasn't an episode where she wasn't falling into someones arms.
The last two episodes were literally just the same flashbacks playing over and over again. And the ending?? Horrible, please redo it. I could've came up with a better ending scene. It was really lacking. Overall, the drama was just too predictable and typical. Despite the poor quality, it gave me many laughs. I had a fun time making fun of the bad acting.

The story at first was pretty entertaining but as the episodes went on, it kinda lost its magic. Nevertheless, the chemistry was amazing in each and every episode.
The actors were really good and convincing and if I am not mistaken, last time I checked they‘re together in real life.
So I would actually highly recommend this drama, because even though the story line kinda lost its magic in the middle of the drama, what mattered in the end, was that the feeling was still felt by the viewer.

*why there is 500 words makr. I really hate it. I cant write more than this. I mean i cant give full synopsis. It says to write what u like and what dislike. I dnot know what to writeeeeeee....
Only dislikes about dramas are that they not real and some times over the top in story and acting. But that's why its drama. But in this drama there is nothing like dragging or boaring. Its short and cutr drama.

It’s a typical romcom where scenes that you can watch in similar dramas like this one.
I really loved the chemistry between the main leads in this drama I can say that the kisses are amazing specially the one at the pool on episode 9th.
I hated the second female lead, she was so annoying and at this point I can’t understand why is she considered a main character when her existence didn’t matter at all and she even didn’t appear that much during the drama. She is a bad actress plus her character is so in mature and childish. She only has an unhealthy obsession for the ML and I just wanted to slap her so many times specially on episode 11th after she was saying those stupid things to the FL.
I loved the OST’s of this drama specially Same and a song for love. They are part on my playlists on YouTube.
I would love to watch a second season for this drama.
I really recommend it, really enjoy every episode m, a lot of cute moments, great kisses and superb chemistry between Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun.
By the way this drama has 14 episodes not 13 as is shown on the description

I wish I never watched it
The beginning of kdrama was interesting, touching on themes I've never seen discussed in k-dramas so I was pretty interested. However, it gets worse and seriously the logic of the characters made 0 sense. So much of the conflict would have been solved so easily with simple communication skills. The writing was poor, thus making the entire plot poorly created and then executed. So many characters on the show have not so great acting skill. They even tried to make a full circle moment in the final episode, but truthfully I didn't care.

A cute classic that keeps you coming back.
This is one I unintentionally keep going back to. The first time I watched it, I rated it a 4. Next time, I stumbled upon it years later, not realizing I'd seen it (until I got a few episodes in), and liked it a lot better. This third time, again, years later, I loved it. Cute with memorable characters and believable life struggles. Even through the more frustrating parts, it still kept me hooked. Was this review helpful to you?

Light, fluffy and the right amount of healthy clichés
Alright, buckle up, because we're about to talk about Sung Hoon. And let me just say, if you've been following my drama journey, you know my heart practically has a fan club dedicated to this man ever since Oh My Venus and My Perfect Marriage Revenge. So, fair warning: what you're about to read might be a tad biased. But hey, for the sake of good old-fashioned drama appreciation, let's dive into My Secret Romance.I've been on a mission lately, a glorious journey back in time to the golden era of K-dramas – specifically, 2014. Ah, 2014! A time when directors actually seemed to, you know, direct, and our beloved "oppas" were still honing their craft with serious acting chops. And, perhaps most importantly, writers hadn't quite discovered the art of making us miserable. My Secret Romance hails from this magical time.
And let me tell you, it's exactly what the doctor ordered if you're fresh off a heavy, soul-crushing plot (we've all been there). This drama is pure, unadulterated fluff, light as a feather, and just what you need to unwind.
Now, let's be real: the plot isn't winning any awards for originality. We've got our classic 2nd-generation chaebol falling head over heels for a regular girl. If you've watched more than, say, 15 K-dramas, you can probably predict the entire trajectory from that one sentence alone. But here's where My Secret Romance throws a little curveball: they started things backward! We're talking a one-night stand blossoming into love.
Normally, it takes a good 12 episodes just for the leads to hold hands, but these two? They went straight for it! This had me, and probably countless other viewers, bracing for some serious dramatic hurdles. But surprisingly, a well-placed time jump smoothed things over quite nicely.
Honestly, this is the kind of show you plop down with on a lazy Saturday afternoon. It's the perfect binge-watch, the kind of drama you might just finish in one glorious sitting. The only real grumble I have is the slightly excessive use of flashbacks. But then again, I've seen worse. Much, much worse.
So, if you're looking for something light, charming, and featuring a certain handsome lead, give My Secret Romance a whirl. You might just find yourself smiling and kicking your feet under the blanket.

Quality Swoon-worthy entertainment
This drama seriously deserves a better rating. I would've binged it in one day, had I not had to get up early the next day. So instead I binged it in two days and it is definitely going to be a comfort drama for me in the future.Of course it didn't hurt that I already liked both leads before this. Secret was one of my favorite 2nd gen girl groups, so I adore Song Ji Eun. And Sung Hoon I've had a crush on ever since Oh My Venus. But it wasn't just the actors that made this so enjoyable. The story was exactly what I'd been looking for: a cute romance, but not in a boring way, with lots of funny moments and swoon-worthy scenes. Despite basically being "only" a love story with barely any side plots, it always kept me engaged and immediately clicking "next episode". Their chemistry is great, the side characters are very funny and lovable and I also really liked the OST.
The only points of criticism I have, are that the last few episodes had way too many flashbacks and that the intro was always spoiling the episode. I liked the drawings in the intro but couldn't they have chosen scenes from previous episodes instead of the upcoming one? Kind of a strange choice. (Also, this drama had the fakest fake snow I've ever seen and I didn't quite get the ending tbh). But honestly, I loved this a lot and I'm definitely going to rewatch it.

i started it cause of that car kissing scene :)
but for some reason i decided to watch this drama , i kinda enjoy the office romance thingie... the story is catchy at first but just like most romcoms it gets dull and predictable.... this one is wayyyyyyyyyy too predictable but i still enjoyed it for some reasons, it is just something to pass ur time with while waiting for ur fav k-drama to be subbed or a one night watch when u run outta choices :)
overall it was nice.

I like the leads and enjoyed the first part, then the story got very predictable. So skipped a lot in the last few episodes.
Lots of loose ends, it feels like an incomplete story. The story could have been better written.
Anyway everyone got a happy ending even though it was kind of rushed.
