Episode Title: The Landlord's Story
Looking outside the window, Xie Xiao Fei goes to Tong Wei to say goodbye to her. Just when they are about to leave, their landlord, Rita, tells them her own story. It turns out that her husband has died on the battlefield at a very young age. She is able to pull herself together by hanging on to her love for him. She encourages them that nothing can separate two lovers except death, and tells them not to back down against anything other than that. Xie Xiao Fei and Tong Wei are deeply touched by her story and decide to elope. (Source: VIU)
