Ugh I'm really not into the "convincing the future mother-in-laws" trope, though I know it's probably a big deal in Korean society. I just find it tedious, predictable, and unnecessarily dramatic. I actually think that even though Joong Hee is falling/will fall for Mi Young, his jealousy over her interactions with Jin Sung Joon make sense even in a non-romantic jealousy type of way. He's always been jealous of Sung Joon and petty, childish, and resentful towards him, so it actually makes a lot of sense that he'd feel possessive over his manager, regardless of whether he's in love with her or not.
