My Father Is Strange

It is similar to When Life Gives You Tangerines because both address the theme of family, and deal with factors such as family friction, lies, how to raise children, parents' sacrifices to educate their children in the best way, forbidden romances.

I watched My Father is Strange right after Heard it Through the Grapevine and it definitely filled the void. I gave it a chance since I really liked Lee Joon in HITTG and he does not disappoint in FIS. Both shows are surrounded by family, although FIS is upbeat comedy while HITTG is dark comedy, Both are good dramas and I suggest you try them.

Go Ahead is also a family drama. It has got the same crazy bond between family and siblings. It does not have a mother figure but don't worry Li pa is absolutely amazing mother hen.

Plot is not similar but it's a one time watch
