Forest of secrets indeed
This show got me back into K dramas after a long hiatus after college. I was tired of watching the usual romcoms and found this one a refreshing departure from what I had been used to seeing. From the outset, the story seems to be a straightforward murder mystery, but as you keep watching, you realize soon that the web being spun if far more complicated. I found myself delightfully second guessing characters and trying to figure out who everything was connected right up until the thrilling climax.The talented cast give as a whole grounded and nuanced performances, fittingly restrained (for the most part) for the darker tone of the series overall. But it's not a downer of a story; throughout the whole drama, you can't help but root for Hwang Si-Mok, as he charges ahead in search of the truth.

That was some STORY
I'm a fan of mystery thriller dramas since I can remember. There are stories which infuses confusion and questions. There are some which drags everything to the very end only to give a plot twist that's not even necessarily explains the rest 15 episodes waste of time. There are some which starts with a gripping storytelling but eventually falls apart in the midway or can't live up to it's expectations by a sloppy ending. Hear me out. Stranger comes under none of this. Prosecution dramas are hard to watch. It needs patience, brain to understand what's going on and memory to remember the hints and incidents that'd eventually make you aware of the scene that's happening. It's boring most of the times. But Stranger is the best drama I've seen so far in the mystery and law genre. There is not a single line wasted, not a single scene that would bore you, not a single character that doesn't have an appeal to the storyline. What makes this the best is the pace of storytelling and how amazingly it is told. "Who's right, who's wrong?" This question was answered so brilliantly in the last episode that I was left stunned.What an AMAZING ACTOR the main lead was. Both the female leads were excellently written. The ending theme music needs to be appreciated too. The poster appealed to me and it really lived up to it. I'd rewatch it if I ever forget about it

Stranger is the drama for you if you thrive on law-crime-thriller genres.PLOT SET-UP, A VERY WELL EXECUTED WITH THRILLING AND SUSPENSE ASPECTS :-
A murder turns out to be more complex and puzzling than they initially thought, unravelling a whole national conspiracy behind the scenes. Viewers might find themselves questioning every character’s motives and allegiance while trying to find the real culprit. Not easy to deal with Puzzle.
Plot twists were properly executed, every second the suspense was maintained until the very end, the plot accelerated forward continuously, and the ending pulled more toward realistically than it did toward a perfect cliffhanger ending for season 2.
A amazingly challenging plotline that had me captivated and invested in the story from the start. I kept trying to figure out who the culprit was, but I couldn't. This is a prime example of those stories where you have to pay close attention or you'll become interconnected with the story and end up in the web of events and confused. AMAZING . MASTERPIECE

MUST WATCH!!
I enjoy this slow burn drama even though it seems long and wordy but the story is made when we watch and want to find out how it will be?Unlike other dramas correct me if something is wrong, maybe this can be called the reality in the life of an investigator prosecutor how to solve many problems and how it is resolved similar to reality as in the real world.
I like how the main actors act and the supporting players who make me suspicious of all of them and many unexpected plot twists sometimes make me confused and ask questions?
Why didn't I think of this?
And what have I missed?
Watching this must be really focused or you will miss the point.

Foi sem duvidas uma historia muito bem contada e produzida onde os acontecimentos fazem sentido e os personagens tem uma razão de ser exatamente da forma que nos aparentam.
Embora o contexto de corrupção dos poderosos possa parecer batido a primeira vista ( já que é um assunto corriqueiro tanto em filmes como em doramas). Stranger consegue entregar isso tudo como se fosse uma novidade, tem algo refrescante nesse Kdrama que o diferencia dos demais que assisti anteriormente.
O protagonista foi um personagem maravilhoso durante todos os episódios, ele demonstrou exatamente o que um promotor deveria ser, isto é, um homem integro, determinado, corajoso e muito inteligente. Sempre tive a sensação de que ele estava a um passo a frente das outras pessoas de sua equipe o que tornava essa jornada pela descoberta do culpado ainda mais interessante. Eu não costumo gostar de homens secos e indiferentes mas por algum motivo me apaixonei completamente por esse personagem em especial.
Eu já comecei esse drama com a noção de que não haveria romance aqui, mas mesmo que eu estivesse ciente que o foco do dorama não fosse esse, foi impossivel não shippar o promotor com aquela policial, já que eles formavam uma dupla que estranhamente combinava muito bem. Sim, suas personalidades eram opostas mas mesmo assim, meu lado romantico falou mais alto e esperou que em algum momento alguma coisa acontecesse entre esses dois kkkkk
O ritmo desse dramas foi fora de serie, fico feliz que nao tenha acompanhado o lançamento desse drama porque eu certamente nao conseguiria ter que esperar uma longa semana para ver o proximo episodio. Fiquei tão empolgada pelo que vir a seguir que maratonei ele em menos de uma semana.
O ponto chave de tudo essa historia é descobrir o culpado das mortes que estao sendo investigadas e nesse ponto preciso dizer que fiquei paranoica e em cada episodio o culpado mudava de nome pra mim, eu suspeitava de tudo e de todos, os unicos personagens que ficaram fora do meu radar de culpado foram os protagonistas kkkkk.
E sim eu gostei do final e fiquei mais animada ainda ao saber que seremos presenteados com uma segunda temporada esse ano de 2020, mal posso esperar para ver a continuação dessa historia que já se tornou uma das minhas favoritas ao ponto de me deixar de ressaca doramatica sem vontade de ver nada novo por uma semana, por medo de nunca mais encontrar algo que se compare ao nivel de stranger.
Se e indico esse Kdrama? é evidente que sim, minha vontade é de panfleta-lo para o universo inteiro assistir!

Um drama investigativo com mais lições de vida que alguns melodramas!
É um drama investigativo, com um ótimo roteiro e plot-twist maravilhosos. Para alguns o drama pode parece sem nada atrativo até o fim do segundo ep que é hoje as coisas começam a fazer sentido.Apesar de ser um drama investigativo ele tem muito mais da parte " a moral da história" do que a maioria. A figura anticorrução é bem observada pela figura da policial Yeo Jin (#DoonaBae) e o Shin Mok ( #JoSeungWoo) faz um ótimo papel de analista de situações.
Acho que para um drama fictício ele aborda muito a realidade principalmente com os personagens "agridoces", mostrando que ninguém é santo o tempo todo e todos tem seus monstros internos e pecadores.
Não é um drama de romance mas impossível não shippar, nada verdade eu shippei todo mundo com todo mundo os diálogos ambíguos foram ótimos (rs). Apesar de não ter romance e o drama não te dá romance até o final o drama acaba perfeitamente.
Enfim... nota: 10/10 real perfeito sem defeitos, tão sem defeitos que eu tô com medo de assistir a segunda temporada.

Eu geralmente não me prendo à um drama logo nos primeiros minutos mas este foi um drama extraordinário. A escolha do elenco foi muito bem feita e as atuações foram impecáveis. O enredo é fluído e a maneira que a história se desenvolve é admirável, me senti dentro da história e PRECISAVA assistir ao próximo episódio. Não me senti cansada ou enfadada em nenhum momento. Os personagens são excepcionalmente interessantes e o que dizer do maravilhoso promotor? É possível se apaixonar por um personagem desta maneira? Acabo de encontrar meu personagem preferido: Hwang Shi Mok! A sintonia dos protagonistas foi simplesmente formidável, uma dupla que aparentemente não tem nada em comum, um promotor sem expressão, frio e que não demonstra emoções e uma policial durona, mas com um bom coração unidos por um bem maior, o combate a este mal que assola a sociedade: a corrupção.
Resumindo: Este K-drama teve tudo o que eu mais gosto em um drama: uma história crível, personagens intrigantes, ótimas atuações e um desenvolvimento fácil de acompanhar, eu AMEI! Aguardo ansiosamente pela segunda temporada que será lançada este ano!

Un procureur privé de ses émotions, mais pas de son sens de la justice
Hwang Shi Mok, étant enfant, souffrait d’un trouble cérébral ayant nécessité une opération entraînant la disparition presque totale des émotions, mais apportant un développement de ses capacités cognitives (j’ai vérifié, ça existe vraiment, et c’est tout à fait réel ! )Quand le drama débute, il est procureur, peu apprécié car froid et renfermé. Personne ne connaît son problème et d’ailleurs ce n’est pas du tout la partie centrale du drama ! D’ailleurs ce drama est impossible à résumer !
C'est une plongée dans le monde à la fois de la police et de la justice côté procureur, on ne voit jamais les avocats, car on ne suit que les enquêtes. Et quelles enquêtes !
On part d’un meurtre, pour s’enfoncer dans le maquis (d’où la forêt, tiens !)de la corruption, de la faiblesse, de l’avidité, et en même temps de la recherche acharnée de la vérité.
Dis comme ça, on peut trouver ça rebutant, mais c’est absolument passionnant, palpitant, jusqu’à la dernière seconde des 16 épisodes !! Les découvertes s’enchaînent, les personnages se dévoilent petit à petit, les alliances se font, des liens se créent (en particulier entre les membres de l’équipe de Shi-Mok). Le travail d'enquête est remarquablement montré, suivi, avec réalisme, sans invraisemblance du tout.
Les personnages sont réels, vrais, avec leurs ombres et leur part de lumière. La fin est parfaitement cohérente, d’ailleurs on pourrait faire une suite et ça ne me déplairait pas !! Et pourtant c’est une vraie fin.
Il y a des scènes d’une intensité époustouflante, (entre Eun So et Dong Jae ! )une réalisation sobre, entièrement au service de l’intrigue, pas une seconde de pathos pour exploiter certaines situations ! Le réalisateur semble nous mettre à la place de Shi Mok pour nous faire comprendre son attitude. L’acteur a le génie de nous faire parfaitement ressentir son incapacité émotionnelle, sans pour autant tomber dans la caricature du sociopathe, on le voit témoin incapable d'empathie et on sent la muraille de verre qui le sépare des autres et pourtant combien il est attachant !
Les autres acteurs sont excellents, Yeo Jin la policière qui saura résister au pouvoir de la hiérarchie, le procureur général, ambigu et insaisissable jusqu'au bout, la jeune Eun So dévorée par son désir de rendre justice à son père, Dong jae dont la bonne volonté ne va jamais jusqu'à oublier son goût pour les chemins de traverse, ils sont tous parfaits !
La musique est parfaite aussi ! Il paraît qu’il y a des chansons, moi, j’en ai remarqué une, au générique de fin du dernier épisode, les autres je ne les ai pas entendues, tant elles sont discrètes et pourtant en les écoutant ensuite, elles sont belles !
Voilà une vraie perle, un chef d’œuvre du genre !! Je le conseille fortement (mais par contre pas l’ombre du commencement d’une romance, mais de belles amitiés ! )
Et je rajoute un mot sur ce drama : son réalisme, en fait sa réalité. L'héroïne est habillée comme tout le monde, à peine maquillée, elle court derrière les méchants en mocassins plats et non en escarpins de 12 cm moulée dans une tenue soit disant discrète mais que tout un chacun remarquerait au premier coup d'œil, en plus maquillée comme un mannequin de mode ! Dans "Stranger", la seule qui soit comme ça, c'est la fille du Shaebol, et là c'est encore un gros point positif : la différence induite aussitôt entre deux univers : ceux qui triment, et ceux qui sont dans les hautes sphères !!! Non, ce drama est parfait, je vous le dis !

Może najpierw zacznijmy od tytułu - ktoś mi powie o co chodzi? Jakie to ma nawiązanie? Sekretny las? Obcy?___________________________________________________________________
Kryminały i dramy na pokładzie sądów i biur prokuratorskich mają to do siebie, że spoza monotonnego motywu trzeba wybić się na dobrej historii morderstwa lub jakiegokolwiek przestępstwa. O ile historia nie jest zabarwiona jakimiś ekstra dodatkami w postaci sci-fi/fantasy na tyle trzeba wymyślić coś tak oryginalnego albo pokrętnego ażeby mozg nie splajtował po kilku odcinkach próbując nadążyć nad ciągiem wydarzeń.
Osobiście mam średnie odczucia do właśnie tej kategorii właśnie z tego względu, że w większości tego typu dram się albo gubię albo nudzę. Tytuł "Stranger" który sama nie wiem do czego nawiązuje zaintrygował mnie w większości tak pozytywnymi ocenami że uznałam iż to musi być naprawdę "coś" i dla wszystkich. Ponadto, seria wcale nie jest najnowsza a pojawienie się jej na netflixie podwójnie mnie zaciekawiło, że postanowiłam przełknąć swoje niechęci i z wielką nadzieją zapalić się na ten tytuł.
Historia zaczyna swoje wejście od głównej postaci Hwang Si Moka, który mógłby wydawać się postacią otartą o jakieś fantastyczne ekstremum - nie posiada on bowiem uczuć. W pierwszej chwili pojawił mi się w głowie motyw z "Beautiful Mind", jako że bohater również miał być swojego rodzaju pustym emocjonalnym frankensteinem, tym razem odzianym w solidny garniak na tle sądów. Intrygujące... intrygujące... Więc ten nadprzeciętny prokurator wkracza w akcje pozornie nudnego morderstwa, które w ciągu 15 odcinków okazuje się kopalnią innych ukrytych zbrodni. Znajdziemy wśród nich standardowo kolejne morderstwa, porwania, nieletnie prostytutki, libacje i najpowszechniejsze - wyższe szychy z przestępstwami podatkowymi. I o ile ilość wątków robi w głowie totalny mętlik, tak sposób ich połączenia i cale dochodzenie po sznureczku do końca sprawia chyba największą frajdę w tej serii. Na końcu możemy się zasmucić, uronić łzę ale też i zawiwatować.
Aktorstwo:
Dużo nie opowiem, standardowo okej. Na plus postać Hwang Si Moka, który był bardzo przestępnie odegrany przez pana Jo Seung Woo. Dam nawet oklaski że z taką kamienną twarzą i zimny charakterem nie sprawiał wrażenia psychopaty. Był naprawdę całkiem naturalny. Podkomisarz Han również sympatyczna postać. Zabolało mnie serduszko przy prokuratorze Yoon, a jeszcze bardziej biedaczyną Eun Soo. Oj rety, zabolało mnie przy niej szczególnie. Nieraz była irytująca ale mimo wszystko nieszkodliwa postać. (Dużo bardziej Shin Hye Sun pasują ambitniejsze rolę jak ta, aniżeli głupi romans jak Angel Las Mission, ale to moje osobiste zdanie).
OST:
Nie pamiętam żadnego..
Generalnie jestem zawiedziona. Drama ambitna, fajna z jakimś chwilami dynamicznym wątkiem, ale toteż nie sprawia że jest dużo lepsza od pokrewnych tytułów. Niejednokrotnie przewijałam pod koniec, a o tym że się oczywiście zgubiłam w całej aferze nie wspomnę. Zastanawiam się, czy poziom zagadek w dramach kryminalnych nie jest czasem za bardzo na siłe komplikowany. Według mnie to odbiera nie raz zapał do skończenia serii wyłącznie na tym że wiem kto jest "tym złym" a kto "tym dobrym", jak również "jak to się stało" i "dlaczego" - oczywiście o ile nie zabraknie nam chęci wytrwać,

SE VI PIACCIONO I THRILLER...
...dateci un'occhiata. Non aspettatevi qualcosa di truculento o ansiogeno però è interessante, mi è piaciuto, anche se talvolta secondo me non è tradotto bene e mi sono un po' persa sia coi nomi dei personaggi che con tutti gli intralacci. Poi però si recupera...!Manca la parte romance; sembrano esserci un paio di relazioni un po' ambigue ma niente di ché e comunque non se ne sente molto la mancanza. Forse sarebbe troppo scontato.
In ogni caso, ripeto, se vi piacciono i thriller e non lo avete ancora visto dategli un'occhiata.
