Kenzo tells King Yeongjo that vagabonds from the foreign quarter not only illegally acquired Joseon's ginseng seeds and smuggled them out of Daemado island but produced fake ginseng and made personal profits. He declares this was treason against Joseon and a disgrace to Japan. King Yeongjo replies there is another matter to be checked first and orders for the police section chief to be given entry. Meanwhile, a fight erupts between Ma Doyeong and Jeon Heungmun. At one point, Ma Doyeong stabs Jeon Heungmun in the abdomen, but panics when his sword doesn't penetrate. Heungmun plucks out Ma Doyeong's sword and breaks it as Ma Doyeong reels back. Jeon Heungmun goes toward Ma Doyeong and steps on his neck, twisting his foot. (Source: KOCOWA)
