In 1867, Sin Jae Hyo leads the Dongrijungsa, which teaches pansori (traditional Korean musical storytelling). A young girl, Chae Seon, who wants to perform pansori, appears in front of him. Chae Seon has dreamed of performing pansori since she first heard Sin Jae Hyo perform when she was little, but Sin Jae Hyo turns her down because women are not allowed to perform pansori. Chae Seon then disguises herself as a man and enters the Dongrijungsa to learn pansori, but Sin Jae Hyo doesn’t accept her as his student. One day, he hears Daewongun, the most powerful man in Joseon and the father of the King, is going to hold a national competition of pansori performers known as “Naksungyeon”. Sin Jae Hyo decides to teach Chae Seon, who has a true voice to perform “Chunhyangga". If anyone finds out that Chae Seon is a woman, Sin Jae Hyo and Chae Seon will both face death.

both are based off of mangas and give off similar feels when translated into live actions. Also, the general theme of a group of male students and one female student in high school

Both dramas feature rich boys and one poor girl who attends school on a scholarship. Both are over the top comedies with the main hero being a "prince" character and the heroine being blunt and not interested in him at first.

Both these Japanese dramas are romantic comedy adaptations of popular mangas that focus around a school club. The same actors plays the male leads in both the dramal with both characters being over dramatic in their mannerisms, and fall in love with the female lead from the very beginning but is oblivious. The female characters though played by different actresses have the same personalties of being lonely school nerd until they meet the male lead and then they start to change. As well the girl is also completely oblivious towards her feeling for the male lead.

Same sense of fun and comic book over the top animations.

a girl is thrown into a life with a bunch of pretty boys each representing a personality that many fans gravitate towards. Both series know how silly their plot can be and even though it can be serious it is very silly.

They regularly perform at a venue that allows only women. Akira Shiraishi is a student at the all-male Kaizan High School. He's treated like a princess at his school because of his feminine face. They are both reverse harems and have similar tones. Have similar cliches: love triangle(or square), hard working female lead with spunk, multiple male leads, etc.

Both female leads are in high school who work hard to be where they are today. But the reasons are different. But both are in debt.

In both of these Japanese dramas, both leads just really want to live their lives quietly by themselves, but get swept up in the drama of a bunch of boys who suddenly converge in his/her daily life. But they find themselves enjoying it regardless.
