So let me start this review off by saying I made the mistake of watching Love By Chance first (it was my first ever Thai BL) which set the bar high.
-The story, though done before, is really cute. With out giving too much away I love how they are both connected to each other through their past. I really have no complaints on the story, but I'm one of those who doesn't HAVE to have something new and different. If its sweet, I'm happy
-Acting/cast, This is were the comparison to LBC comes in. After watching LBC and seeing the whole casts amazing acting I was a bit let down with this one. The 2 leads physically fit their role but it felt like neither actually wanted to be there, not much in the way of chemistry. The one that played Pha seemed very stone face, very handsome, but maybe needs to work on his facial expressions. Maybe he is better in non bl roles? He really didn't seem to want to be in there. hopefully he finds his niche.
*Kit and Ming were really good, no complaints with them at all and great chemistry with each other, they seemed like they enjoyed being there (that or they are that good at acting). They are the 2 that I wish was in the remake I wanted to know more of their story :(
* Forth did pretty well. Beam was really stiff and awkward in a couple of the shots when he was just standing there, like he didn't get any direction on what he was suppose to do. The other side characters were not bad, and the Star for the Science faculty was pretty and I think her acting was very natural for her character.
*I think some of the problems steam from the Director maybe? Seems like there was way too many awkward or unneeded pauses. Made it feel like they forgot their lines at times or were waiting for something, other times the lines didn't flow right. Things that the director should have caught and done a retake.
....Then again, the Director for LBC was really good, and you can tell he demanded perfection so maybe I'm expecting too much?
-Music, ok I'm a sucker for the song they use through the whole thing...12345 I love you, ok I'm done.
-Rewatch value, well I've watched it twice now so not bad. Will I watch it a third time, probably not. I'm excited for the remake.

The main characters were adorable, incredibly handsome and so sweet! The romance between them was unbelievably cute and sometimes a little corny, which made me love it even more!!
Story:
Not to heavy, but deep enough. No background story for the second leads, but not really necessary in my opinion. The story between the main characters had the most depth and was satisfying enough for me!
Acting:
Sometimes a little awkward, but I absolutely loved it! The mains had cute chemistry and the second leads were adorable. Definitely a beautiful cast; they are all gorgeous! Completely swoon worthy!
Music:
The songs were nice, nothing special to report! I thought one of the songs was a perfect fit (watch it if you want to know which one! *insert evil grin*)!
Overal:
Cute love story, which made me laugh out loud and even squeal! Loved every second of it and I recommend people to watch it!

Even though there are still 2 other seasons planed I already love the series but sadly the book where it is based on isn't translated into English.

First things first: the storyline is really sweet! If you want to see hot-heated grinding and dirty sex, this isn't the right series for you. It is rather sweetly built up, a bit of a slow-built drama, but it develops reasonably, and every touch is so sweet and careful - I love it.
What strikes me the most about this drama is that I learned many new things about the culture and their traditions, which cannot be expected automatically in an asian drama (as the main audience probably knows about all this stuff). It also helpes me to understand other dramas a bit better because here in Europe - it's very different.
Secondly, the characters. Where should I begin? The actors are just perfectly chosen for their respective roles. Their expression of feeling is fucking on point!
All in all, this drama is very cute, has funny elements in it and is very touching. I can only recommend it, if you're searching for cuteness, softness and slow-built romance!

Before watching this show I had never heared or saw anything from 2 Moons The Series but I can't wait to see more of it. I will definetly recommend this review to anyone who really likes a cute love story (yes there are some basic love drama items in here but it is still worth it!). But be aware you might die of all the feelings you get from watching it!

Yo and Phana was so sweet couple. Phana look so cute and Yo was so innocent.
You must really watch it. Everybody who like BL drama this must watch it.

I 100% recommend this series! If you liked SOTUS then you will most definitely love this one too. It has the same feel with different characters, scenes, and moments. Makes you feel all giddy and stuff. The characters will make you fall in love and the scenes will most likely make you squeal and have to pause to breathe after having a cuteness overload. What I like most with out giving out spoilers is that on and off screen the bond of all the characters are sooo adorable. I literally just finished the series and I can't wait for the next season. Annoying comments in the subtitles should be forbidden
One episode in and I'm already annoyed AF. Someone called "Pinkmilk" provided English subtitles, which is obviously good, but insists on writing the most ridiculous comments, virtually sucking all the fun out of watching. Can people please just keep their idiotic fangirling comments to themselves? Don't you have some social media or other forum where you can do that sh*t? Some of us want to watch and discover the story, the characters and their development on our own. Nobody needs nor wants your "insights". So annoying!Was this review helpful to you?
