Tho only similarities are the type of romance, it has no murder but the males leads have a traumatic past

Both dramas involve a strong friendship ruined by cheating while forcing them to stay together due to their occupation.

Similarities:
- Both have a serial killer on the loose that takes an interest in the main male lead.

- Both are set in the world of crime.

- Both possess the genres of romance and comedy (and are clearly showing it).

- Both have a romance where the main male lead is above the main girl (careerwise) --> In Suspicious partner she's his employee and in Love me if you dare she's his secretary/assistant.

- Both male leads have an interesting personality and are smart.

- Both male leads have high positions (careerwise).

- Both excel in their field of work (one as a profiler and one as a prosecutor/lawyer).

- Both male leads have experienced trauma in their past and are still suffering from it in the present.

- Both female leads have an interesting personality and are also smart.

- Both deeply engages in a complicated investigation of the serial killer that goes beyond a few episodes.

- Both have complex characters with their own internal battles.

- Both have multiple cases, regarding criminal investigations that have nothing to do with the serial killer but are separate cases.


Differences:
- One is set in the world of the police while the other is set in the world of lawyers.

- One is produced in China while the other in South Korea.

- Suspicious Partner has 40 episodes while Love me if you dare only has 24 episodes.

I dont know why but the vibe reminds me of suspicious partner.

Both have kind of a love hate relationship

The atmosphere and the humor are similar I think.

Youll understand when you watched both of them :P

If you really like the FL lead in Suspicious Partner, like her messy attitude, I would like to recommend Into the Ring because the FL lead here is similar, even more extra. Both of them were fantastic!

The sets are different, but both dramas have a good romance with some suspense and mystery going on.

- Both dramas are very comedic
- In cafe minamdang characters are police and in suspicious partner they are lawyers/prosecutors, so both are crime dramas
- The main couple is bickering couple that dislike each other in the beginning
- Cute fluffy romance
- the criminal scenes and plot are well made and focus of the show
- The side characters are equally as funny as the mains
-The male lead and female lead in both dramas join hands to find out the killer

- Male boss and female employee develop a relationship
- Male boss in denial of the developing feelings at first
- Female employee very messy, male boss is organized

Both the female lead and male lead characters and personalities are similar.
They both are friends to lovers and very fun to watch.

Both have strong female & male roles. Both involve mysteries pertaining to deaths and the detective like journey the characters take to accomplish outing the killer(s).

Both have the male lead played by Ji Chang Wook and a great chemistry between him and the female lead. The dramas also share the Thriller part and some investigation.
Both female leads are sassy and strong. The dramas gave me similar vibes.

There are a few similarities though if one liked suspicious partner I guess they will like this too.

I don't know why I feel like I should recommend this buy I don't know, watching this drama reminded me of My Amazing Boyfriend. Maybe it's because of the suspicions that arise in both these dramas.
