supporting cast...why?

almost at the half way point and still really liking the show. it's really all about Ren and Mio and everything that happens outside of that relationship is really poorly developed, as if the only reason the supporting cast is there is b/c it's impossible to tell this story in a vaccum. theses characters are really there to give Ren and Mio things to act around and that's IT.

also noticing that this version doesnt have as much glitz and glam as the korean version. not a bad thing strictly speaking, but i do find i miss it a little.
