In 1867, Sin Jae Hyo leads the Dongrijungsa, which teaches pansori (traditional Korean musical storytelling). A young girl, Chae Seon, who wants to perform pansori, appears in front of him. Chae Seon has dreamed of performing pansori since she first heard Sin Jae Hyo perform when she was little, but Sin Jae Hyo turns her down because women are not allowed to perform pansori. Chae Seon then disguises herself as a man and enters the Dongrijungsa to learn pansori, but Sin Jae Hyo doesn’t accept her as his student. One day, he hears Daewongun, the most powerful man in Joseon and the father of the King, is going to hold a national competition of pansori performers known as “Naksungyeon”. Sin Jae Hyo decides to teach Chae Seon, who has a true voice to perform “Chunhyangga". If anyone finds out that Chae Seon is a woman, Sin Jae Hyo and Chae Seon will both face death.

Lee Jang Suk spent some time in a juvenile detention center for stealing wallets from unsuspecting strangers. After he gets out, he meets a sports agent, Nam Jae Il, who's trying to recover from a downfall in his career. Together, they work to achieve their dreams. Jang Suk dreams of becoming a K-1 Champion; and Nam Jae Il dreams of regaining his reputation as a top sports agent.

Tae Joon became Jae Hee’s strength during her toughest time, and she leaves the US for Korea to enroll in a men’s physical education high school to help Tae Joon restart his high jump career. Tae Joon announces his retirement from the high jump national team and closes his heart, but his closed heart begins to open after meeting Jae Hee. Eun Gyul is confused about his sexual orientation as he falls in love with Jae Hee who is masquerading as a man. The student-athletes have a fun time training with each other and are not tied down to setting a record or competition.

In both dramas you can find the female lead and the male lead living together and fall for each other. And also, in both dramas the female lead chase the male lead.

Due to family circumstances, high school student Miko Sonoda is forced to live at her uncle's boarding house. However, before she can arrive there, Miko is already met with a bad omen: while trying to find the place, she suspects that someone is following her! When her uncle comes to her rescue, the assumed stalker happens to be one of his tenants, leaving Miko embarrassed on her first day.

Miko learns that she will be living with five unique adults, including the accused man. Additionally, it turns out that he is Jun Matsunaga, a 29-year-old designer who seems to lose his temper easily. Having made such a humiliating first impression, Miko believes that only a miserable life awaits her. But in the presence of Jun, she comes to realize that living with adults is not so difficult after all—and there may even be enough room for romance.

High School themed dramas with eye-candy boys and ONE LUCKY girl. I found these two dramas alike because the characters seem also the same. Seo Kang Jun is Kang Tae Joon (Choi Minho) alike, Gong Myung is DEFINITLEY one with Cha Eun Gyeol (Lee Hyun Woo), Typhoon (Kang Tae Ho) - Ha Seung Ri, Yoo Il and Kwanghee's character (Song Jong Min) are also very much alike and also, Kim So Eun and Goo Jae Hee (Sulli). And also, the love triangle is almost the same.

Nao Yoshino has failed the entrance exam for her target high school. Devastated and defeated, she enrolls in a technical high school called Kenritsu Asuka Kougyou Koukou, or "Asukou" for short. Out of the 148 entering freshmen, only three are girls, and Nao is the only one in her class. Surrounded by boys and stuck taking part in dirty, challenging, technical classes that she doesn't want to take, Nao finds herself feeling frustrated and alone. But when her male classmates, one by one, begin to come around her and lift her up, Nao learns...maybe her new school's not so bad after all.

Both dramas give you the same feel. Both high school dramas, and highly recommended for Rom-Com lovers.

If you like "To The Beautiful You" you might like "True Beauty" they're both school drama and they both face the bullying problem even if in the first one it's just mentioned. There's more comedy than drama in both of them and I really enjoyed both shows so much. They're dear to me <3.
