Following yet another run-in with Prince Ying, Yuan An is ordered to make the Queen’s exotic crystal flower bloom, by which the only known method is watering it with three drops of rain on a sunny day. At night, Yuan An attends to Prince Ying, who is weakened by his brother’s necromantic spells. She sobs as she recalls her past with Mu Le.
