i loved every single think abou this drama yeah to be honest in the start of the series I hoped for the Human to be the good one because come on that was a robot he doesn't have any emotions so how can I get affectionated to him but but but....I ended up to like the Robot than the human yeah because the human version of Nam Shin ws a trash in confront of him the artificial version was an agel. Kang Seo Joon protrayed very well both of the roles yeah he did suchh agreat job i just hope to see him in some great project i the future
At the end of the drama I almost had a hear attack becuase something happened, that's on you to find what it is...because if I reveal it here will be a spoiler....

I absolutely loved this drama. (Warning this drama has scenes that can make you cry)

? The story line overall is good. Some small plot holes, and some of the romance is a bit draggy...
The plot will keep you hooked, and at the end of every episode there's always a cliff hanger

? The cast is perfect for each other. The main couple looks so good with each other, I loved how Shin, Shin mum and So Bong has light brown eyes, it's so pretty! xd. The acting is overall good, Gong Seung Yeon crying scenes has improved a lot, but some times she doesn't express sadness that well... Kudos to Kang Joon, his acting is spot on, he manages to convey feelings of two different characters well!

? Music is good, I cry every time "Love" and "Is it love" plays. Their whole OST is awesome! Always brings out the perfect vibe to suit each scene. One of my favorite Kdrama OST!

? I would definitely re watch!! I hope to see Seung Yeon and Kang joon together in another drama or real life! XD

This is definitely one of my favorite K drama in 2018, I hope this drama wins many rewards!!!

STORY:
Even before I started to watch the drama I knew that it would include the romance between human and AI robot, so I knew what I was getting myself into and honestly, I don't regret my decision in starting this drama at all.
A quick advice for those who want to watch the drama but aren't sure is = Don't start this drama if u can't accept fantasy relationships such as vampire/human, werewolf/human, alien/human, witch/human and other fantasy creatures. If you don't consider these relationship as real, then I think it's your turn to step back and find a different drama, because you might get bored or annoyed with this one.
Okay, back to the story which I am starting with.
I try to be always objective and that's what I will do here as well. The plot is NOT perfect and has plotholes but I don't think it's such a big issue to stop watching it. Even tho I am big fan of this project, I can say what I liked and disliked about the show and it's very simple. This show is not only abour romance but mostly about action and economical issues around the company. I am a person which does not like such talks so I found them boring and I personally think that they could cut on some issues which were not really needed. That's the biggest problem I had with the show but overall it was not lacking anything for me. I applaud the scriptwriter for keeping us on our toes with the episodes and oh, those cliffhangers almost ruined us which I loved even more! I was excited for Mondays and Tuesdays to come.
Romance is very sweet and innocent but also in some point heartbreaking? But in a very good way. I cried, laughed and screamed and I don't do such things with other dramas much.
At first I started even a topic how the drama should end and my first idea was that human Nam Shin would get into accident and get brain death and AI Nam Shin will replace him. The idea came not because I hated the fact of a robot being with a human, no, not at all. I just for a moment thought like Nam Shin III a bit.
''I want to feel like a human, I want to feel pain and cry like a human'' this is exactly what I thought and I was right. NS III wanted in later episodes all this and u can say it's a bit of a greed? But in a good way. That's why my theory was like that. But then later I realized along with NSIII that you HAVE TO accept who you are even tho you are a robot. He can't change who he is but it doesn't mean that he can't feel and love in his very own unique way.

ACTING:
Okay, I wanna know who said that Seo Kang Joon can't act! Like, I followed his path from his debut till now and I fell in love with him from the first drama he had and was mesmerized by his way of acting. It's not only pretty face but he has a real talent. U can definetly see the difference between human NS and AI NS which not anyone can do. I also knew the female lead before so I knew what to expet and I got it! Very happy that they got together in this drama ~

MUSIC:
Okay, I would give this a full 10/10 but I simply can't because of the VIXX. I am their fan but not with this OST as it just did not fit right with this drama for me, but I can forget about it if I listen to ''Longing dance'' which is my absolute favourite OST and whenever I hear it I get goosebumps and picture NS III walking baddass to me to save me.

REWATCH VALUE:
Yesterday I finished the drama but today I'm starting to watch it with my mom so...it's a rewatch for me? I can't get enough of it and just wanna see the masterpiece once again ~

!!!!!!!!AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Are you human too is an addictive drama. Just watching a single episode makes me to watch the all episodes released in one night. After long time I found a good drama with good acting leads. Music is amazing. Good stunts.I already watched almost all famous dramas. After watching all these good dramas I can't find a good drama until are you human too.I usually skip the episodes in kdrama but I can't seek a single second in this drama because it has a gripping story.
For me are you human too drama is better than what's wrong with secretary Kim. What's wrong with secretary Kim is also a good drama but if you give me a chance to pick any one of these two dramas ,I will definitely choose are you human too.

The plot of this story is very unique and interesting so far. I look forward to the new episode coming out every week, if I was watching the completed series I would be pulling an all-nighter. The acting is very good so far and there’s is a lot of drama and suspense. The main leads are so cute and good looking, even the secretary. The male lead’s acting is very good , I get so excited when he switches from his cold persona to cheerful persona. So far, I would recommend this series if you are looking for something very interesting to binge watch.

At this point, Only 13/18 episodes have aired of "Are you Human too", which I have seen, and I think that is already plenty for me to give my opinion about this drama, It is THE DRAMA OF THE YEAR. The Glamorous Drama I have been waiting for ever since Goblin. I love how convincing the robot's acting is- it is so perfect that while it gives you a sense of non-human interaction, you still feel a deep sympathy for him. One almost shares the robot's dilemma of human emotions. The story gets you hooked from the beginning, because you really don't know what is ganna happen next. The plot is full of surprises. I recommend this drama for anyone who has been longing for a new unique one.

Really liked the beginning then it got so tedious

I do not know where it went particularly wrong but what I do know is that at the halfway mark - I lost utter interest .

To start with the positive , the premise of the show is great and worth a starting of the show. The brilliant AI Robot and the circumstances surrounding his creation were really captivating story points. Where it went wrong for me was the very quick resolve of the situations in the world of Are You Human Too? It kinda got rid of its angst and X Factor that it could have had going for it . Every great piece of screen play has great tension and pull and the writers were adamant in getting rid of it at all costs which I thought had a purpose but then served as BORING.

So ? Everyone KNOWS EVERYTHING, what is the point and you are telling me we have 10 more eps to go???? Doing what ?

Then , the female characters in the brilliant Mom scientist and the kicking ass bodyguard just all became weeping heaps despite the strong backgrounds. Honestly , I was exhausted .

Then there was the obsessive second female lead who also seemed to have a rather strong intellectual pursuit and she was bogged down to a literal bedside BUT we were introduced to her running PR of a whole conglomerate! AAARGH

The plot twists seemed forced too like they were correcting their past mistake in resolving everything too quickly by eps 5 so they cheaply threw in some pointless plot twists.

And the last gripe was the romance . Just a no from me. Badly presented . Badly done . Kang So Bong was just not written to deliver.

And no - I do not think that this show had any brilliant commentary on being human and being a robot as most people suppose.

Overall - I really tried but the points listed were just too overwhelming for me to continue.

Devoid of logic garbage

Okay, so… I finally finished Are You Human Too? and honestly? This show is just garbage. We’re talking logic? Absolutely none. Zero. It started off intriguing, and then just slowly descended into absurdity, plot holes, and inconsistent nonsense.

Let’s start with the real Nam Shin, because I will defend that man forever. Everyone in this show treated him like the villain, but I couldn’t hate him even if I tried. He was abandoned by his mom as a kid, raised by an emotionally distant CEO grandpa, wakes up from a coma to find out a robot is literally living his life — and people are mad at him for being angry? Of course he was messed up. Of course he was lashing out. Honestly, I felt for him so much. His self-worth was in the gutter and no one — no one — was willing to see things from his side… except Younghoon. Bless Young hoon. The one character with a brain and some empathy.

And then there’s Kang So-Bong. I genuinely tried, but I couldn’t stand her. She’s out here calling the real Nam Shin “evil” like she has the moral high ground? No girl, sit down. You fell for a robot. You judged the real human who’s been through hell. I couldn’t buy into their whole romance thing either — it just felt off the whole time. Like… weirdly one-sided and forced?

The robot himself? Don’t even get me started. He was smart when it suited the plot and dumb when they needed drama. One moment he’s giving live medical diagnostics by touching someone’s hand, and the next moment he’s staring at his dying creator saying “She’s not breathing…” like a confused toddler. Sir, what happened to all those medical sensors? You can’t revive her? You can’t even try? Come on.

And don’t even get me started on the mother’s death. The same mother who created this robot genius gets reduced to a background worrywart, only to die saving the robot from getting destroyed. Like… what?? That scene was so stupid I nearly screamed. And THEN the robot sheds a tear in the final scene when he’s reunited with Kang So-Bong. A literal tear. Like… not an oil leak, not a malfunction. Just a classic, poetic, emotionally triggered hydraulic leak. I can’t.

Also, the whole “there’s no way to destroy the robot except for the kill switch” thing? Complete BS. In the end they just shot him. That’s it. They could’ve done that 20 episodes ago. Turns out he’s not some indestructible marvel. Just… unplug him or hit him with a car or something, I don’t know.

The real Nam Shin did get an ending, and I guess it was okay, but after everyone treated him like trash for the entire series? This show is still a total flop. I don’t care how many dramatic piano pieces you throw under the robot crying.

Final verdict: some iconic moments, mostly unintentional. Completely illogical. Weird character priorities. But hey, at least I’ll never forget that emotionally triggered hydraulic leak

I'm surprised that I love Are You Human Too way more than expected. Despite many wtf moments in terms of logic, this drama is emotionally truthful and thematically consistent. There are several themes to tease out, but I particularly enjoy how questions about identity occur in the setting of a conglomerate family, a dehumanizing environment where what matters is one's 'usefulness' to the authority figures they serve. The concept of a 'stand-in' or a 'replacement' is central to Nam Shin 3's early journey but also mirrored through Seo Jong Gil and Ji Young Hoon. Alternatively, the pain of having no agency over their actions is central to Nam Shin 3 at the end and human Shin. I like that we could peek at how human Shin has been treated through the way he treats Nam Shin 3, and it's unsettling to hear him say Nam Shin 3 has no right to disappear considering the flashback of him escaping home and what Chairman did after he fell into a coma. Despite the parallelism in their circumstances, each of these character finds or reclaims their identities in different ways that suit the characterization.

Watching this drama is almost like self-indulgence. The writer discussed topics I'm interested in, built character arcs the way I wish she would and wrapped up their journeys nicely to convey messages that exceed my expectations. Maybe I like it so much because it feels so personal? When So Bong told Nam Shin 3 that she will protect him no matter what despite being weaker and not nearly as smart as he is, I thought that's one of humans' most admirable trait and wished that this line is more than just cute banter. It's nice to see the journey of a vulnerable yet resolute protector plays out through Nam Shin 3 (at the end), So Bong, Mom, Young Hoon and even human Shin (at least to his hyung).

Overall this drama makes me think long and hard about some meaningful, emotionally resonating themes. For that, I'm more than willing to look over its flaws, and actually feel guilty of writing a review that is all over the place. Then again, I'll excuse my laziness by saying that the review is somewhat similar to what I think of the drama. Kinda messy but never devoid of sincerity!

Awesome !)) 10 out of 10 ! This is the most touching series I have ever watched!

I watched all 18 episodes in 2 days ..)
Definitely recommend to watch and also to rewatch ! ))
So strong and deep acting by actor Seo Kang Joon, so strong emotions .. to tears! literally! and the scene where Suwon worries about the robot and sees his death .. so touch the soul (( .. so sorry for NamSin 3 at that moment and Suwon herself .. this is the strongest scene (one of the most) , tears are pouring ... I cried !
Perhaps a good performance by an actor is one in which he merges with the image and makes the viewer worry about the fate of the hero .. Seo Kang Jun did it 100% ) I couldn’t tear myself away from him ahah, of course I really liked the image of NamSin 3 in his performance )) very soulful .. and so realistic for the image of a robot .. and his cute smile)) ..
I really liked this drama!)
super touching, super romantic, super crazy with sad moments (there are a lot of them), and moments of sincere, almost impossible love between a human- robot (I can’t call him just a robot)) and a human ..
this drama will make you worry from episode 1 to the end .. you will be so passionate about the fate of NamSin android that you will worry about him and follow his development, wondering how far he will go in his improvement, how he will change further away from the rules .. and what he will go for those he loves...
You will be interested in how the first meeting between NamSin android and NamSin human will take place and what kind of relationship will develop between them .. you won’t guess right away!
All subsequent series I was worried that NamSin android would not be turned off .. he "became a human " so much that I wanted to extend this character as long as possible)!
In my opinion, Sin android is much more human than the people around him .. he is more human than all of them! .. and even the fact that they thank him .. they still perceive him as a robot (logically he is a robot) but still, with feelings and emotions like people .. he is more humane .. I felt so sorry for him in places, it seemed that at some moments he cried if he could .. but his look always expressed more than words ..
By the way, in the end, he did cry, at the end)) it was so .. touchingly cute and sad to watch .. I think that he learned to experience emotions himself in relation to others, much earlier...
at least there were many moments in his gaze where he seemed to experience pain, sadness and joy, love towards Suwon but did not tell her about it directly .. but right at that moment where he cried, everything was expressed in him .. all the pain of separation, about the events that took place, experiences and the joy of meeting with Suwon! ( I want to believe that he had surpassed himself and learned to experience emotions and feel ...) It was so strong!
I think he deserves a warmer attitude ..
Seo Kangjun.. wow! Oh great actor!)) so handsome .. impeccably handsome ahah and how he expresses emotions .. you can’t tear yourself away from him the whole series! He so subtly conveys the whole gamut of feelings! Already nemaaagu))) he perfectly expresses deep emotions without special facial expressions where it is needed .. those who love all these things (intrigues, facial expressions, a game of emotions ..) you will like to watch him .. you will not be torn off later! Ahah
All the actors did their part well, I think.
As for Jena.. well, why hang on to someone who doesn’t notice you?.. Nooo, even after a kiss with another, she’s ready to live with him.. she’s more like a cyborg than NamSin ahah
in the end, she broke firewood but still tried to save him ..
As for NamSin's mother .. a little selfish desire was to make a 2nd son for herself so that later .. turn him off? when he finally finds the 1st .. is he a toy? Why then it was necessary to endow him with feelings if you were going to hurt him .. I’m sure if he recognizes the emotions of others, he would also be hurt if he found out in the beginning (after all, artificial intelligence is generated and can also feel about himself (probably?)) ..) this is cruel... really sorry for him..
The mother turned out to be not so bad .. in the end she saved him, which pleases) ..
