Wu Ji convinces Zhi Rong to obey his commands as her life depends on it. He purposefully makes it appear that he is favoring Zhi Rong to instill fear and doubt into Qi Zhen that Tang Bo is rising in power and influence. Zong Yue tells Yun Hen how he survived the massacre when Yun Hen begged him to spare Qi Yun from his revenge plans. They then set out to intercept the letter from Qi Zhen to Tang Bo.
