I wonder what promise that deceitful lady qin was talking about. I'm beginning to see what the eldest brother was trying to say... But.. What actually happened? GTY mother was not at fault that was the truth. What eldest brother said was full of nonsense. No. I don't think all those ppl in the army knew that he was Gu Tingye. His merits was achieved on his own not bcs of his family name that ppl didn't know. Even the current emperor didn't know his real name, until the former emperor recognised n called his name! Humph! I think both of you was over praising that eldest brother. Myb it wld work since gty didn't know how to be eloquent with his words. Well at least the good thing about the eldest brother, he was a good husband father. I think he just kept his promises to help those scoundrels. But.... UGH THOSE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED THAT THEY REDUCED TINGYE TO PLEAD LIKE THAT TO THE EMPEROR! ungrateful and didn't know how to raise their children at all!.
