Mr. Chi agrees to help Mr. Bern fix his broken pocket watch. The Japanese don't find anything in the store and go to Mr. Chi's house instead. Miyamoto Cangye and Ye Chong interrogate Mr. Chi about Mr. Bern. The British spy is in contact with BIS and wants to sell important information. Miyamoto Cangye and Ye Chong are waiting for Mr. Bern in his hotel room. Ye Chong finds the intelligence from Mr. Bern. Mr. Chi has moved his telegraph from his store into his car to avoid detection. Xiao Zhuang tries to send news through the phone. His mysterious caller sets up a meeting time and place. Mr. Chi also gets the same time and place. Everyone shows up at the meeting place hoping to meet the mysterious person. Miyamoto Cangye sends his men to spy on Xiao Zhuang. Mr. Chi notices the Japanese are there and fires a single shot as a warning.
