Contract relationships
The leads hate each other at first, but start to develop feelings
Crazy love is more of a dark comedy, while BTIMFL is more dramatic

The stories are somewhat different, yet they have contract relationships in which the leads fall in love with each other.

In both shows, our main male lead is so blunt, smart, and quirky. There are some scenes when I just enjoy him talking our his logic and thoughts! He cares about his female lead and his expression shifts is very unique and endearing! I love them both! I think you can enjoy the same level of comedy from watching them interact with other characters, particularly his girlfriend.

Different but the same? Both drama are (slow-paced) slice of life stories about people in their thirties geared toward a mature, adult audience with lot of dialogue and little action and only subtle humor in between. Not office focused as FLAW is but both shows focus on a realistic, in-depth look into the definition of love, (romantic) relationships and traditional marriage as a concept in a very thoughtful and eloquent way. It also deals with topics and themes such as sexism and harrassment in the workplace, traditional gender stereotypes and its societal pressure, meddling, dysfunctional families and the generational conflict ensuing from all that etc.

The story focuses on three, very different couples, two side... one main. The romance of the main couple is slow-paced but starts from an unusual place as well, except that it is contractual, loveless marriage here instead of a passionate one-night stand turned into relationship like in FLAW. ML is the one who is cautious and afraid to get hurt again, but all the more to hurt others, introverted, but perceptive of others and logical to a fault. FL is inexperienced in love because she was too focused on work, but she is smart, a little idealistic/chaotic, headstrong and speaks her mind. Main couple also communicates well (for the most part) and deals with their conflicts in a mature, honest way. It depicts their struggle and growth needed to find a common ground for a healthy relationship together in a realistic manner, like in FLAW.

For those that can not get enough Contract Romance.
In both dramas the couples end up living together due to circumstances. In both dramas, the couples sign a contract and enter into a fake relationship. Both dramas are done well and are in my top 20 all time favorites.
The personalities of the characters is different
Because this is my first life is a little more slow paced and thoughtful. Full House has more comedy.

Women story on their way to 30s. Different female characters and background. Close women friendship. Story about them pursuing their dream or finding what they truly want in life. Independent women.

Deals with a contract relationship and the male lead is the same quiet, cold type. He's less dominant and the dynamic of the couple is slightly different. A genuine agreement turned love with not too many hidden secrets. REALLY good and I felt like I learned something each episode, often made me emotional.

Both dramas are about a man and a woman living together and navigating the relationship that forms from proximity. I prefer Because this is My First Life, but Personal Taste is worth watching

• Both are slice of life dramas
• Both have FLs who are writers.
•Both focus a lot on family and friendships
•Both have similar colourful vibe and a sweet ost
•Both dive into the minds of the FL (in Yumi’s cell it’s literal but in BTIMFL it’s a metaphorical dive in her mind)

Because This is My First Life is a very realistic approach to contract marriages. But BTIMFL focuses more on the romance while Yumi’s Cells focuses on life more. Both are realistic and feel good dramas. Must Try!

Fifteen-year-old Sei Saotome is the type of person who tends to fail at the most crucial times. After nearly becoming a high school drop-out, she enrolls into a school that is overambitious for her. There she meets the bold and popular Taiyou Udagawa; and the dreamy and stars obsessed, Mizuki Ootaka. After being asked by Mizuki to join the two guys in the Astronomy Club, it turns out high school life isn't as bad as she had expected.
