An emotional coming-of-age drama centered around Andou Jun, a gay student who is not out. He accepts a confession from his fujoshi classmate Miura Sae and they start dating. However, Jun is also seeing Makoto, but fails to tell Sae about his male lover.

Although one is a drama and the other a movie, both tackle the dating lives and problems of people inserted in the otaku culture. How to Date an Otaku Girl is also very funny, especially if you're familiriazed at least a little bit with the fujoshi culture. FL is a nerdy geeky/otaku girl who like to imagine & day dreaming about romance with her favorite manga/comic book character. Remind me of Rainie Yang & Jiro Wang drama....& still 1 of my favorite drama....If you like this genre this is a must watch romance comedy drama....
