A story about superpowers. At first, I thought it'd be a cheap version of MCU & DC, but it proved me wrong. It has a good plot with a superpower element in it. Parents trying their best to save their children.I loved the fighting sequence.
Lee Mi Hyun had to do everything to protect Kim Bong Seok from guiding him to control his ability to earn money all by herself.
Laughed how Kim Bong Seok was telling Jang Hee Soo to catch him then to leave him while floating.
Lee Mi Hyun reaction to seeing Kim Bong Seok with Jang Hee Soo is epic.
Loved how calculatively Lee Mi Hyun approached Kim Doo Shik.
I wanted to see scenes between Kim Doo Shik & Kim Bong Seok. I'm disappointed that they didn't show any.
I'm surprised that Han Hyo Joo played the mother role of a teenager in her 30s.
Can't wait for S2.

late to the party but loved it
So many things to love but the biggest, for me, was how the villains/antagonists were equally as strong and interesting as the main characters. I also truly appreciated how they painted characters from both sides as very human. It's so easy to make viewers only root for the heroes....By the very nature of their characters, stories often have villains as expendable and forgettable. In 'Moving', this wasn't always the case. And I liked the writer and director for that.I am also super pumped and hopeful about a season 2. I just pray that Ganghoon doesn't have a villain arc, please. I know we will get enough villains to keep the main characters and us occupied so please, let's have only good Ganghoon okay. I want him and his family to be happy.
I am also extremely intrigued by the time stopping character that we got only a glimpse of in this season. Read somewhere that it's a character from the writer's other webtoon. Would love to see him as a main character in the next season.
To come back to the review, 'Moving' was amazing. A perfect mixture of heartfelt, intrigue, thrill, comedy, and romance. It was so cool to see the huge ensemble cast. Hats off to my girl, Han Hyojoo, for always doing interesting work. I love you!! Also, wow she looks so cool with Zo Insung. Like the chemistry is amaze! That entire section of her first trying to get his attention and him slowly noticing her was brilliant. The background music put that section up a notch, too. Would love to see them both together in other movies and dramas too...(saw somewhere that they are working together but can't remember where I saw that).
And finally Kim Sungkyun....Damn, he is the action hero we deserve, How lucky we were to see him as Lee Jaeman! It's because of him that I want Ganghoon to be a good guy next. I hope Jaeman and Ganghoon enjoy a happy father-son relationship. PLEASE!

Mind blown!!!
Warning! sensitive soul refrain from watching as it is a violence heavy show.I came across this drama thanks to a short on YouTube and decides on a whim to watch an episode. It's fair to say that I binged the whole thing.
I fell in love with everything. The plot is quite original and interesting on it's own, add to that a good script, a good directing, it would be solid enough. But no, they gave us phenomenal acting, every actors were well casted, they were sympathetic yet also very much endearing.
There is no great dichotomy between which side is good or bad. Those are people who have their own motives, their own philosophy, their own story to tell.
Some people complain about the amount of flashback, and it's their right, but for me, it was the highlight of the show.
The youth's stories was great but the parent's stories even better.
I would like to sincerely recommend this drama to everyone, this is an emotional trip that will make you want more.

The series shines because it grounds its fantasy in emotion. Each episode peels back layers of its characters, revealing ordinary people carrying extraordinary burdens. The cast delivers exceptional performances across the board. Ryu Seung-ryong, Han Hyo-joo, and Zo In-sung are phenomenal, portraying strength and vulnerability with equal grace. Their chemistry radiates warmth and humanity, even in the most intense moments. The younger cast also deserves praise โ their innocence and courage bring emotional balance to the darker themes.
The production is top-tier. The cinematography captures both grandeur and intimacy, while the action sequences are fluid, visceral, and emotionally charged. The soundtrack complements the storytelling perfectly, heightening both tension and tenderness.
What truly sets โMovingโ apart is its heart. It doesnโt glorify violence or spectacle; instead, it celebrates empathy, family, and resilience. Itโs rare for a show to make you cry one moment and cheer the next โ but โMovingโ does exactly that.

Incredible!
I didn't know what to expect with Moving since I hadn't read the webtoon but what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! I can't believe it's already come to an end. Every episode offers so much detail to the plot.It is a well-rounded show with loads of action, special effects, sweet romance, heart-wrenching emotional moments and beautiful stories of parents and their children. There's also a sprinkling of humor here and there. In short, it has something for everyone. There is an excellent development of characters with their backstories including many of the negative ones. That was an especially nice touch that we don't commonly see.
The only drawback for me was sometimes I felt the story was moving a bit slow for my liking (pun not intended). And maybe some might find this to have a lot of gore. Some of the fights can be a bit brutal and hard to watch. But the way the individuals use their powers to their advantage really made the action sequences both shocking and entertaining.
All the stories come full circle in such a perfect way towards the end however it also leaves us with some shocking revelations.
The score and the OST was quite good.
There's a deeper political message that raises the question in minds of the audience - who's battle are we really fighting? I hope more people add this to their watchlist. It's worth it!

Overall i really like this drama,, only a bit unclear with Bong Seok and Hee Soo couple ending,, they story like sudden "silent separation" after all times they together,, after all main heroes got their happy ending on their story, why Bong-Hee couple not get it?But i hope on season 2 later there are story line that will bring happy ending to Bong-Hee coulple, since there are spoilers in end credits about this story are still long run until all problems gone with other characters on next chapters.. fighting Bong-Hee couple ?

Alot of violence
I watched episodes 1, 2, 3 and found it to be very violent. The initial story ( about the highschoolers) seems to switch to the parents and I just didn't find it interesting. Drama coreano, presente su piattaforma disney, suddiviso in due stagioni (la data di uscita della seconda non รจ ancora stata rilasciata) che unisce supereroi, spionaggio e melodramma familiare. Tratta dallโomonimo webtoon di Kang Full (Light shop, PARASITE etc. etc.) racconta la storia di tre studenti delle superiori che nascondono poteri straordinari ereditati dai genitori, ex agenti di unโunitร segreta sudcoreana.
Kim Bong-seok: puรฒ volare (o meglio, levitare), ma fatica a controllare i suoi poteri. ร ingenuo, gentile e molto legato alla madre, Lee Mi-hyun, ex agente con sensi super sviluppati che lo protegge in modo asfissiante e poco "salutare", impedendogli di vivere serenamente.
Jang Hui-soo: ha la capacitร di rigenerarsi allโistante, ereditata dal padre Jang Ju-won, ex spia segreta, dal corpo praticamente immortale. La ragazza cerca di vivere normalmente, nascondendo le proprie ferite invisibili legate alla perdita della madre in giovane etร e al continuo trasferimento destabilizzante per sfuggire ai servizi segreti dove lavorava il padre.
Lee Kang-hoon: possiede forza e velocitร sovrumane. Vive con il peso delle aspettative, desideroso di riscattare il padre che possedeva lo stesso identico potere e cerca di imporsi come leader a scuola.
I tre si incontrano al liceo Jeongwon nella stessa classe, Bong e Huisoo stringono una profonda amicizia, scoprendo reciprocamente i loro poteri. Tuttavia, la scuola รจ il centro di una sperimentazione di sviluppo di talenti da parte di un distaccamento dell'ex servizio segreto sudcoreano: lโagenzia segreta sudcoreana e infiltrati nordcoreani cercano di reclutare (o eliminare) i ragazzi, con l'intervento dei servizi segreti americani, riaprendo vecchie ferite nella vita giร provata di questi genitori che dovranno riprendere a lottare, con i loro poteri, per proteggere i figli.
La trama alterna flashback intensi sul passato dei genitori โ agenti speciali usati come pedine nella guerra fredda tra Nord e Sud โ con lโattuale battaglia degli adolescenti per trovare unโidentitร . La serie si muove tra melodramma familiare, thriller di spionaggio e azione spettacolare, culminando in una guerra aperta a scuola tra studenti, genitori e nemici nordcoreani.
Il finale lascia aperta la strada a nuovi sviluppi: i sopravvissuti cercano di ricostruire le proprie vite ma minacce e vecchi fantasmi restano dietro lโangolo... .
Aspetti positivi che ho gradito della storia
Non รจ solo una storia di supereroi bensรฌ un racconto di genitori e figli: la paura di trasmettere fardelli, il desiderio di protezione e la speranza di un futuro migliore. Questo tocco umano รจ ciรฒ che differenzia Moving dai classici action occidentali, magari fatti meglio visivamente.
Ho amato il realismo con cui รจ stata presentata la corea del sud negli anni '90, prima del boom economico, ho visto usi, vite e gli spazi urbani di allora, quartieri prima della riqualificazione e la povertร mista a disperazione della gente, le loro case asfittiche, anguste, simili a sgabuzzini. Ho adorato questo racconto vivo privo di edulcorazioni e patinature.
Lo stile senza fronzoli รจ reso anche visivamente sui personaggi con un look nude se ci riferiamo al trucco, nessun fondotinta ultra coprente e levigante da pelle di porcellana (ultra finta) a cui i kdrama ci hanno abituati ma uno stile nudo, imperfetto, con cicatrici e sebo, crudo come le loro vite.
Personaggi ben costruiti
Ogni protagonista ha un passato doloroso e realistico. I flashback (Ju-won, Mi-hyun, Doo-sik) non sono semplici riempitivi ma veri mini-film che aggiungono profonditร emotiva e spiegano il presente. Questo aspetto era essenziale e funzionale allo sviluppo del presente ma personalmente l'ho trovato troppo diluito, trascinato, questa รจ una mia personale preferenza che non inficia la qualitร , ciรฒ che invece ha penalizzato รจ il montaggio.
Qualitร tecnica e spettacolare
Le scene dโazione sono curate e visivamente potenti: voli, combattimenti corpo a corpo, esplosioni, guide sfrenate di autoveicoli. Lโuso di effetti visivi รจ calibrato, mai eccessivo, e si accompagna a una regia cinematografica di tutto rispetto e molto curata, con scelte chiare e condivisibili.
La Struttura narrativa รจ originale
Il ritmo lento nei primi episodi diventa un pregio quando emergono i pezzi del puzzle: la serie riesce a fondere coming-of-age, spy thriller e superhero drama in unโunica cornice coerente.
Cast di altissimo livello
Attori come Ryu Seung-ryong (Jang-Joo-won), Jo In-Sung (Kim Doo-sik), Kim Sung Kyun (Lee Jae Man), Moon Sung Geun hanno aggiunto peso emotivo e carisma. Anche i giovani attori hanno retto bene il confronto con colleghi di grande esperienza, Lee-jung-ha ha preso 30 kg per il ruolo (niente tute volumizzanti imbarazzanti come le colleghe donne di altri lavori), Go Yoon Jung assolutamente all'altezza del ruolo nonostante una giovanissima etร . Anche Han Hyo Joo ha brillato ma... .
Interpretazioni
Le performance non sono state solo fisiche (azione, combattimenti, sparatorie, effetti scenici), ma anche interiori: tristezza, rimorso, conflitti interni sono abbastanza comunicati ma รจ sembrato che la serie si concentrasse piรน sul "fisico", sulla "spettacolarizzazione" che sulle vicissitudini interiori.
Specialmente la madre, l'attrice rodata Han Hyo Joo, ha utilizzato un doppio registro : da un lato una madre impicciona e molto teatrale nelle reazioni, come spia invece si mostra rigida, chiusa, coartata. Non ha legato completamente queste due rappresentazioni di sรฉ dandomi una sensazione di frattura, di stacco netto , come fossero due donne diverse. Per questo non la premio. Tuttavia ha dato prova di grande prestanza fisica che mostra capacitร di proteggere ciรฒ che ama, la sua trasformazione da madre chioccia a badass queen ha assunto toni quasi epici.
Attori giovani come Lee Jung-ha e Go Yoon-jung hanno ricevuto riconoscimenti, sia dalla critica sia a premi come il Baeksang Award. Sono stati lodati per la freschezza e la capacitร di reggere il confronto con interpreti piรน esperti.
Anche nei ruoli secondari non si percepisce una recitazione โdi contornoโ: quasi tutti i personaggi โ genitori, antagonisti, figure minori โ hanno momenti in cui โbrillanoโ. Ciรฒ aiuta a dare spessore alla serie e a non far sembrare la recitazione sbilanciata, dimostrazione che la regia ha saputo bilanciare i registri interpretativi.
Temi universali e principi ispiratori
Al di lร dei poteri, Moving parla di sacrificio, perdita, ereditร , resilienza. ร una metafora della condizione coreana (divisione Nord/Sud, cicatrici della guerra) ma anche un racconto sulla famiglia coreana.
La disabilitร trova qui spazio e viene realisticamente trattata: Lee Jae Man ha una disabilitร intellettiva e questo lo porta inevitabilmente a vivere lo stigma di una societร che non tollera "i diversi" (Min lo definisce "inutilizzabile", la collega dell'emporio ne parla alla moglie come di un uomo incapace... ), tuttavia anche lui ha un super potere, trasmesso al figlio.
Questa scelta, da parte degli autori, รจ profondamente umanizzante: anche i disabili sono persone normali, come i neurotipici possono ricevere poteri, e questo li rende in qualche modo speciali.
Il ribaltamento del modello classico del supereroe รจ il punto di forza della serie.
Kim Bong-seok non รจ il โbelloneโ carismatico che domina la scena, ma un ragazzo impacciato, timido, goffo, con ansie quotidiane e un corpo che spesso lo tradisce (sudore, fame incontrollabile, paura di volare senza riuscire a fermarsi).
Questo lo rende vicino al pubblico: chiunque puรฒ riconoscersi nelle sue fragilitร , nei suoi momenti da โsfigatoโ che non sa come affrontare.
La sua crescita non รจ quella del โdiventare un figoโ ma del diventare umanamente maturo, impara a proteggere chi ama, a non vergognarsi di ciรฒ che รจ, e a trovare coraggio nella sua vulnerabilitร .
Questi super eroi vengono definiti dalla societร "mostri", mostrando un ribaltamento del modello classico del supereroe. Il lavoro diventa quasi una parodia tenera dellโeroe classico, ho apprezzato questa reinterpretazione moderna: lโeroismo sta nellโaccettare di essere โdiversiโ, non nellโessere perfetti.

Sceneggiatura eccessivamente diluita
Nonostante lโoriginalitร del mix tra superpoteri, azione e spionaggio, alcuni momenti risultano sparsi, con spazi morti narrativi che riducono lโimpatto drammatico, complice anche un montaggio non sempre ottimale.
Il crescendo emotivo non sempre รจ supportato da una coesione narrativa costante.
Montaggio, flashback inseriti nei momenti sbagliati:
nei picchi di tensione (scontri, rivelazioni emotive), il racconto si interrompe con lunghi flashback dedicati ai genitori. Anche se utili per approfondire i personaggi, spezzano il ritmo e fanno calare lโadrenalina dello spettatore.
Alcuni episodi centrali sono costruiti come mini-film sul passato di un singolo personaggio.
Questo rafforza la componente drammatica ma diluisce lโintreccio principale e riduce lโurgenza narrativa.
Alcuni dettagli dei flashback (come lโaddestramento o la vita familiare dei genitori) vengono ribaditi piรน volte, allungando scene che potevano essere condensate.
Contrasto con lโazione, le sequenze action hanno ritmo serrato e montaggio dinamico ma sono alternate a segmenti lenti e contemplativi che non sempre si amalgamano bene.
Personaggi secondari poco sviluppati
Alcuni comprimari appaiono piรน come strumenti funzionali alla trama che come figure con un punto di vista autonomo: la loro evoluzione รจ superficiale, lasciando emergere un potenziale incompiuto.
Tono talvolta incostante
La serie passa rapidamente da momenti di forte pathos familiare a sequenze di tensione spionistica o battaglie con stacchi netti e improvvisi: personalmente ha contribuito alla sensazione di sceneggiatura โannacquataโ.
Suspense poco focalizzata su chi muove davvero le pedine
Alcuni eventi cruciali restano ambigui nelle dinamiche: non รจ sempre chiara la scelta dei servizi segreti (Operazione gabbiano, Mission top secret 1994... scena dei nord coreani in auto prima di entrare a scuola). Questa scelta narrativa puรฒ essere intrigante ma anche frustrante se non seguita da sufficienti rivelazioni.
In conclusione รจ una serie che consiglio a occhi chiusi, raramente si vede questa qualitร e tecnica visiva, la CGI cosรฌ ben curata, le interpretazioni sono tutte ottimali, non eccellenti, e la storia รจ interessante sebbene la parte sullo spionaggio sia meno interessante e i flashback troppo diluiti, penalizzando un ritmo troppo altalenante della storia.
Il risultato รจ che lo spettatore percepisce uno sbilanciamento tonale: la tensione costruita con cura viene โcongelataโ da salti nel passato, rischiando di vanificare la suspense. Questo rende la sceneggiatura e il montaggio โtroppo diluitiโ. La mia valutazione รจ alta perchรฉ era una serie dalle potenzialitร immense, e nonostante queste pecche risulta un lavoro unico nel suo genere con una resa visiva superiore a molte altre serie che mescolano poteri e realtร ordinaria, realizzando un lavoro di sicuro impatto visivo.

great plot
