Lee Hyori and Hwang Jung Eum join the casts for their first run. 2 teams are created "Expensive" and "Cheap" teams, and it becomes a time race to see which team can find the secret codes in time! Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Kwang Soo, Song Joong Ki, Hwang Jung Eum win. Ji Suk Jin and Haha lose rock, paper, scissors and work as greeters the next day.

Running Man Episode 1 Reactions
Finally! I found the very first Running Man episode. I have to say, to be in this show, you have to have the endurance and stamina to film for 12 hours! Started filming sometime in June 2010 at the SBS 9th floor rooftop garden. The team even filmed overnight. They started right after the mall closes at 10:50 PM and finished before the mall opened the next morning.The first venue was Seoul’s Yong Dong Po Gu’s T Shopping Mall, the largest shopping mall in 2010 with about 200 stores and the mall has 5 floors. I wonder though if this is still the largest mall in Seoul right now. I was so surprised when the very first person to be eliminated in the history of Running Man is KS. I was pretty much amazed by Hyori's face. I saw her in Refund Sister's and nothing much has changed! She still looks very young and slim. This episode is so hilarious especially the bridal photo shoot! Daebak!

kinda weird seeing how timid Kwang Soo back then LOL. how rain suddenly poured down when they shoot, that was such a unique opening LMAO. loved the race and Gary-Hyori moments when taking pictures for the game were hilarious!

-This was a hilarious beginning to the series, and a great place to begin for someone with no experience watching variety.
-The girl power in this kind of scares me
-It's amazing to go back and look at how timid Jong Kook was and how Suk Jin was put in a longstanding leadership position
-The entertainment value was a bit weaker compared to a lot of the rest of running man, and there were a couple dry spots but it's worth it to start from here if you're a beginner to Running Man
