Four Stars

In the first episode of Ibul Bakkeun Wiheomhae, the first four celebrities reach the vacation house - actor Lee Sang-woo, member of K-Pop group Wanna One Kang Daniel, member of K-Pop group HIGHLIGHT Yong Junhyung, and singer Park Jaejung. Upon them all arriving, the awkwardness begins as the more comfortable at home celebrities adjust to living in a new vacation house with people they have never met before.

At first, I wasn't too sure of IBW. I only watched it for one celebrity on the show, and he wasn't in the first episode other than a short interview at the very start of the show, and I didn't think I had much attention to give to it otherwise. However, once the homebodies began to move in and began to meet each other, the humour began. Watching them converse so awkwardly brought genuine laughs tumbling over my lips. It seems bad to laugh at but the show was made for humour and comedy. As the relationships began to develop, the show became sweeter, providing a look into the life of celebrities that you know and love, and to see them interacting as themselves - not as a celebrity.

The first episode of IBW did bore me a little, but it was entertaining, funny, and definitely heartwarming.
