Lan puts on a show, and while "possessed" names Yan as a corrupt minister. Angering Yan shi Fan, he has a Eunuch accuse him of a crime. The Eunuch then fled. Lan was arrested. Yan is as arrogant as ever, he tortures Lan, without permission of the Emperor. Jin Xia finds Lu Yi, to offer her tracking services. Jin Xia and Yang Yue track the Eunuch. Yan also looks for the Eunuch, hoping to tie up any loose ends. The Emperor is upset, when he hears that Lan was badly beaten. Xu Jin takes the opportunity to accuse Yan. Emperor grounds Yan. Lu Yi is ordered to look into the case, but when he goes to the Imperial police department, he finds that Yan has already used his power and influence to negotiate a small fee for his "crimes".

Four Stars

The Villain mentioned about Lanlan oh noooo. I know I just hv this feeling Lanlan will be sacrificed oh nooooo. I want all of them, ppl in Jinxia camp to be save. Wait what was he doing??? Lmao it must tickled him silly that he can fooled the emperor. But seriously that was so not... like obscure? I'm afraid that the emperor wld se through it. I knew it! Even jinxia said the same! Like why Lanlan was so impatient... Haishh.. Hmm.. Haish. Idk Wow this moment of Yan Shi Fan's humiliation was so delicious to watch especially when Lu Yi saw him kneeling. Well.. YSF was planning something, I want to hold hope that Jinxia wouldn't be so reckless showing herself in front of him but.... Thankfully she didn't
