Yan Shi Fan is surprised by the severity of his punishment. His sentence is carried out quickly. Jin Xia talks to Uncle Gai about Lu Yi. Anxious to make things right, Lu Yi breaks in to take the document, his father gave to Jin Xia. Later, he brings up this matter to the Emperor at a banquet. The Emperor was angered by this and sentences Lu Yi to death. In prison and condemned to death, Lu Yi seems resigned to his fate. Jin Xia encourages Lu Yi not to give up hope, she will get him out. Thankfully, Lu Yi's integrity won him some friends along the way. Ultimately, the Emperor has a change of heart, and he is released to a waiting Jin Xia.

Well.. It's over, I saw the photo of this episode... It's gonna be bad. And Lu Yi will be imprisoned this episode too. That scene of Lu yi storming to arrest YSF was delicious. I want him to suffer more but his punishment was okay to me, could be more heavy though but still, I... can't enjoy that much when I know Lu Yi will be in prison too *sigh on second thought. I love seeing his pitiful body drag to the punishment side, ouu the humiliation he must feel and he got to see Jinxia witnessing his punishment too. Coming here after I saw Lu Yi grabbing scroll... Omg so that was why... Haish Lu Yi also stupid, Jinxia just want him to show his love. Why did he do that???? Well I guess Official Xu cannot be trusted. He just pretend to be good but he wanted to take care of himself only. I hv my suspicion when I saw the way he replied to Jinxia after few minutes she met him. Wait the imperial decree.. Seriously... Was this how it was going to be??. Wow xie xiao good for you tbh. Jinxia... Seriously sksks with her friendly personality ofc she would befriend the Imperial Guard. I knew there wld be message in that moon cake. YANG YUE AND SHANGGUAN XI so cuteee. Thank goodness Lu Ting was so loyal to the emperor. Them in front of those stone faces Imperial Guards made me laugh omg. I want to see them get marry :(
