A Meditative Intensity Story
I could not sleep early on a Saturday morning, and this movie’s review came up in YouTube out of nowhere. So, on a whim, I decided to watch it. Before you know it, I had finished it and had become so engrossed in its plot and story, I found myself caring about these characters with a certain sense of affection. I found myself teary eyed and gently sobbing for them. It is an intensely gut-wrenching film that is deeper than it is given credit for. I was shocked and dismayed at how poor the reviews were for this movie. I do not understand. I loved it. To be sure, it does not move mountains, but it is not meant to do so. It is a story about two misfit loners who happen to find each other in exactly the right space at exactly the right moment in their lives that connected them in a feeling of fruition. UM CONCEITO TÃO BOM PERDIDO NUMA EXECUÇÃO RUIM
Eu comecei a assistir esse filme porque a sinopse me interessou, mas a execução foi péssima.Aqui temos o Yoichi Mizukawa que é um garoto de 19 anos muito traumatizado e antissocial e o Kazuaki Sakurai que é um homem de 37 anos com uma carreira e zero sonhos dentro de uma mente desgastada.
A construção tinha tudo para ser muito bonita, mas os acontecimentos são lentos, entediantes e com zero conexão entre os protagonistas. Nada se destacou, nem mesmo as atuações.
A química não estava ali, os motivos de ambos não me convenceram e os personagens de apoio eram mais interessantes que os protagonistas.
Esse é um filme esquecível e com um final sem peso.
