What really happened to Project D?

This isn't a spoiler review/react like what you guys are thinking. I currently am still need to watch episode 9 myself and finish the whole season - yep, it's my first time watching this as well so this react is just a first-impression-basis. When I watched this episode last night I was all eyes and ears because they finally were gonna tell us what was inside the safe (that they didn't get to open last time btw) they found in Jeju island back in episode 2. So this episode tells us about a friend of K who is giving our detectives three tests to show him their capabilities and hopefully work for K's friend (Kwangsoo hilariously showed his loyalty after the secretary showed him the cheques LMAOOOO). They were told that the tests were reconstructions of real cases and the detectives genuinely believed that, until things turn slightly more questionable as they move to the last test (I won't spoil this one, but SLIGHT SPOILER ON THE NEXT SENTENCE). I gave this a 9.5 because I honestly didn't like how Kwangsoo answered the given problem on the first test when it was Sehun who figured it out. I know the show is semi-scripted, but I still couldn't help being disappointed when Sehun didn't get a lot of praise for how he solved it (I know I know! He was praised by most of the team, but it's just me when I say that it just wasn't enough praise, please don't attack me T_T). That left a sour impression on me that's the reason why I didn't give a 10, but 9.5 is satisfactory enough since the plot finally got us to know more about Project D. I won't spoil any of you from here, that's why I suggest you all to watch the whole episode, it WILL be worth it I promise! I'm gonna move on to episode 9 from here, and I'll give out a review/react of it afterwards after I do see it.

Sehun, the quiet detective.

At the beginning of the episode I wanted Min-Young (who was incredible, as always) to win, then I was impressed and dazzled by Sehun solving the first test and almost died laughing with Kwang Soo trying to steal the answer and Jae Suk hitting him. I wasn't expecting the episode to go that way and I can't wait to see the comeback of the best villain in the series! And finally, they gave some focus to our adorable Se Jeong, she sings so well and is an icon solving things.
