Gui Chen and Yu Ran ponder what to do, but in their hearts, they both know they need to save Ji Ye at all costs. On the day of their marriage, Gui Chen is told Ji Ye's military rank is restored and that he's sent to the border to fight in battles. In reality, Ji Ye appears to be saved from execution, but it is clear his military rank has not been restored.
