i'm rewatching this one even though i gave it a fairly low score initially just bc xnghan suggested it lol but man i wonder where the show lost me bc this is just such a perfect drama episode, it felt more like a short film honestly. it made me laugh and cry a lot, it already covers so much showing people struggling to survive, to raise children, and eunjung's story was so sweet then so sad it could have been it's own drama. even if i end up not liking the rest of the drama again i'll prob still rewatch this episode at least a few times

One of the most genius writing I have seen in kdrama land. With characters that feels realistic and complex, they manage to flesh out these lovable characters within one hour. Loved. Every. Single. Second. Of. It.

I am totally not into comedy series BUT this was hilarious. I laughed out loud and could not sit still. I love all the characters they introduced. However, there were suddenly some sad moments which touched my heart. They also wrapped serous topic up in humor without ruining the message

This whole episode is just an exposition for the characters but wow they really built each character well. I really enjoyed the first episode but I'm also aware that the next episodes would probably have a different tone to it. I actually dropped this after watching the first few minutes but I was encouraged to continue it and I don't regret it.
