Zhao Yao tells Zhi Yan she won't stop her from going to the grand meeting, if she masters Sword transportation technique by then. Zhi Yan is surprised she agreed so easily. Zhi Yan thinks Zhao Yao has fallen for Li ChenLan, but she just hasn't realized it yet. Zhao Yao coaches Zhi Yan while she practices the technique. She thinks of Li ChenLan and smiles. Later, Zhi Yan gets nine cycle pills, from South Hill leader, to help her improve quicker. Zhao Yao tells a little of South Hill leader's romantic history to Zhi Yan. Zhi Yan continues to practice making very slow improvement. Zhao Yao nods off, while watching. Li ChenLan walks up, motioning Zhi Yan to stay quiet and go away. He sweetly takes a leaf from her hair, then tells her to go and rest. Zhao Yao brings up the grand meeting. He cuts her off saying not to worry, he made arrangements and he would not let Liu Su Ruo succeed. He starts to walk away. She calls to him, not wanting him to leave yet. Jiang Leader was about to send a very rare "rebirth herb" to Wan Lu sect, but decides to wait a few days. Jiang Wu practices with the blood collecting sword. Sima Rong visits Qian Xian to see if he could be persuaded to stay away from the grand meeting and tells him why. Still Qian Xian says he will go. He does tell Sima Rong that he will not condone Ming Xuan being woken up, at the expense of others. Sima Rong tells Li ChenLan, he wishes he could see the ruckus Seventeen(East Hill leader) is making right now. Li ChenLan admits he also thinks it would be a fun sight to see. Seventeen has been told, by the men sent by Sima Rong, that if she messes up the grand meeting, she will get to see the old sect leader(Zhao Yao). She is in a hurry to get there. Qian Xian attends the grand meeting. Liu Su Ruo asks that Qian Xian give his blood, in the interest of waking Ming Xuan. She pretends to be an innocent lamb who has not and would not hurt anyone to get it...
