Accidentally in Love

Pros: This drama has good production quality. The set and costume designs were fun and cute. The cast is very good looking! The female lead's acting was good and made a lot of scenes work. The music is top notch, and the drama can be really funny.

Cons: I feel like this drama lacks the most in story telling. They hint at a backstory for each main character but don't go any deeper than that. The characters are not fleshed out which makes me feel a disconnect during many scenes. I also think that the acting can be really bad! I don't want to sound mean because I love watching dramas, but Situ Feng, Gu Nanxi, and Zhang fangfang's acting did not convince me for the serious scenes. In fact, Zhang Fangfang and Lin Yiyang's acting did not convince me at all. Sometimes it really does sound like they're reciting memorized lines when it shouldn't feel that way. Because the acting is subpar, I feel as if this drama lacks heart and some scenes felt awkward when they should have felt heartwarming.

I think this is for tweens

I found this story very confusing. I can only assume the target audience is girls between 9 and 11 - maybe some adults will find this charming, but I think they will be the exception.

The plot isn't bad but the actual story and acting is extremely OTT. The characters are at university (I think), but they all have only one classroom and all take the same subjects? This story has a Power Rangers feeling to it ie overly colorful, OTT acting, weird situations... If you watch the first few episodes and think this isn't for you, then you shouldn't force yourself to finish it - it doesn't get better.

I do think girls aged 9 - 11 will enjoy this though and that's why I gave it more stars than I otherwise would.

This was my second time watching this drama, and I won't explain the whole story so if you would like to know more details, read a summary. What I do want to say here are some things about the ending, I highly recommend this, I have watched it twice and would watch again, but if you want to feel satisfied at the end of watching, this isn't what you should go for; (you won't be able to understand much of this if you don't know anything about the series) the girl uses a disguise, a wig, painted on freckles and fake glasses. When she finally tells her boyfriend her true identity, instead of being able to look like her true self, he likes her with the disguise. So, the end is a bit frustrating in my opinion, they end up together and even have kids (so they probably married) but she is still using the disguise because all her friends (even though knowing the way she looks) like her the other way?

I just can't imagine her having to wake up every morning, put on a wig, paint freckles on her face and use fake glasses; I can't imagine having to wear a wig everyday, and what about her baby? Is she gonna have her baby look at her as not herself?!
I hope you understand that I still love this, I just wanted to explain the ending but the rest of the story is amazing! I liked the way she explained how she lost her identity but if you really think about it, it's really strange and it made me sad seeing her take care of her child looking completely different than her true self.

Yes it is if you are searching for a sweet love drama , I start watching this drama without expectation but as drama goes on I luv it

Story:

Between episodes 1-20 the drama was nice but after that a felt booring ,I am not connected to some scenes after ep 20 like the male lead preparing for engagement because of silly reason and the ending is too rush I will give 9 star rating for 1-20 but for 21-30 I will give maximum 6 stars

Acting:

The acting was just good because the drama not demanded any sad emotional scean

I honestly enjoyed the premise of the first half of the plot. Was it over the top and ridiculous, yes, but from time to time that kind of genre can be fun. Add a fun and good looking cast, lots of cliches which are both obvious and enjoyable to pick out and see come to fruition, and I had the time of my life. Unfortunately, given the number of episodes I guessed the second half would be dull. It was worse than that: a true makjang of amazingly bad decisions and typical second-lead character guilt trips that would make anybody Not in dramaland beat their head against a wall. I fast-forwarded most of it. It's better that way. Will always have the first half though. That was a good watch.

Talk about a Slow! Burn!

This entire series is a typical cliche, and not in the good ways. You start the series with Qingqing, who runs away from home to go to a college to find out the past about her parents. Alright, nice. But then you just get the slowest burn of a series I have ever experienced.

Literally you can watch the first 5 episodes, and then the last 10, and it won't miss much. Typical girl pretends she's ugly when she's not, gets bullied by the popular girls for liking the popular guy, and rejects the hotter, much nicer guy.

Then there's the suicide attempts by the main female antagonist. It was a "If I can't have him, I'm killing myself" moment, which is sloppy writing. Then she tries it again.

I was hoping for a super cute, college romcom, and instead I got the slowest moving drama that I've ever watched. The only thing I did like was the music.

I wouldn't watch it again to be honest, which says a lot, because I like most of the dramas I've watched.

I can't stand the characters they are so annoying and not representative of anyone in this world (at least sane). I can't feel sorry nor happy for the characters because they are all really over playing everything. It is supposed to be be funny but it only get on my nerves. The plot is overall good it could be a good drama, it's the kind of "cliché" story that's always nice to watch fir fun. The green screen is horribly obvious and way too much used wich gives the colors too much brightness and feels like a cartoon. And finally, the sound is unconstent; sometimes its hard to hear what they say so I had to press on the volume, then the next take is really loud, it's not the worst aspect, but I believe it shows a lack of professionalism in overall.

I tried, really really tried...

My brain was unable to handle after 4th ep, firstly I don't know what's problem with voice of the female lead...why she have to be so loud and irritating voice? I don't feel any natural acting from the female lead...all of it seemed just forceful. She could hit a male idol with millions of followers to invite more troubles but can't hit the bullies...like wtf?
I can't stand such stupidity...its like watching a six year old girl who had her ice-cream scoop dropped on ground, I understand that she is like tomboy girl but she could have a teeny tiny bit of brain after hearing that she had already finished her studies...and for one second, please a 21-22? year old girl would be so much worried for her love life that for which she go into university? Like what she thinks of an university-a marriage bureau?
Okay okay its a drama, so I can put off my logic but still man...it was ridiculous! I came here with high hopes after completing 'missing you' BUT my brain cells literally got fried watching after first 4 ep!
Anyways, if you are able to close your brain and could watch a girl's only purpose to come to university for her love life then you are very welcome to watch this...

I accidentally stumbled upon this little gem only a day before writing this, but I was immediately hooked. It's not a drama I would typically go for but the cast are easily loveable and the plot (so far) it light-hearted and fun.

Rarely I found the acting quite poor, but this was only on one or two occasions and definitely didn't hinder my enjoyable experience. At times I found the corners of my mouth voluntarily lifting upwards at scenes that, in any other drama, I probably would have just glossed over.

The main male lead... what a voice! The music is great! And I'm only a few episodes in, but I already know this is going on my re-watch list.

That brings me to the episodes themselves. If you're an English speaker like me, it seems you can only watch up to episode 6! I'm hoping someone will come along and put me out of my misery by subbing it (although I've debated watching it raw) so I can continue to watch it.

If anyone knows of a website that has the remainder of the episodes translated, please let me know! Otherwise, WATCH IT!!!
