Don't watch this rubbish
The story line is over a decade out of date with the misogynistic characters and the old cliché of the bad mothers, no originality what so everThe ML may be handsome but I didn't like anything about him and the Fl mother I would of told to do one within the first episode can't stand the show sorry not sorry................. Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch , Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch , Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch , Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch, Not worth the watch

I just want to say that if you are looking for really good chemistry between the leads and a lot of wrist grabbing, my friends this drama is it. While the storyline itself is not so unique or complex as it is a typical revenge plot drama, the chemistry and acting between the characters make it really great. The romance in this story is what kept me watching this show in one sitting.
The chemistry between the two leads Sila (P'Tor) and Mingtra are intense and sensual every single time when they meet. While Sila is that typical cold guy being mean to everyone, he is sweet to Min as he always teases and finds a way to kiss her (which he mostly ends up getting a slap from her lol). What I want to mention is the dedication and loyalty he has towards Mingtra is what captures your heart instantly. Even though he owns a prostitute night club and comes off as a player type, his eyes are only set for her. As he has a revenge plan set in place, he cannot reveal his true identity as P'Tor and hence keeps on denying his identity to Min even though she knows in her heart it's him. This can cause him to be blunt and intimidating towards her, however, his attitude to her is never once abusive.
Now on to Mingtra. While she is the typical miss goody two shoes, what I loved about her character is that she was always assertive and making the best of her current situation while dealing with hardships. Her belief in Sila really being P'Tor is unwavering and she always stands her ground to Sila, always challenging on his true identity and whether his quest for revenge is truly necessary. In addition, she is headstrong and plays a huge support system for Sila. She is an example of how you can be nice and intelligent without being foolishly naive as this is a typical trait of many "good girls". She is very much admirable and as I said before, she stands her ground. She makes her own choices and is not that typical needy FL (its rather the other way around)!
Sila and Mingtra together, have a solid understanding towards one another and never once do their feelings towards each other falter. If you guys are into slow romances, this drama is it. Although Sila is pretty much in love with Mingtra the minute he recognizes her, it does take time for Mingtra to admit her feelings for Sila. Mingtra is shy about intimate contact, something that Sila does a lot to her, hence why he teases her alot. But that's what makes their interactions cute. The ML's facial expressions in reaction to her are priceless.
Watch this show guys! The plot's good and the romance is even better!!! There are no bs love triangles in this show. The main leads are loyal, and consistent to one another and their bond is truly heart warming. I would say their romance is comparable to that of the lead couple in Healer (also another similar, really good show).

While there were many great scenes between the OTP (mostly slaps and kisses in the beginning), the romance was not the show's primary focus. The show poster that featured the ML prominently clearly indicated this. The story was really all about Tor/Sila, and his singular desire to destroy the ones who wronged him and his mother. The other characters, including Minta, the FL, and Aunt Mam played pivotal roles in his life, but they were still side characters whose purpose was to convince Tor to move on from the past. Their goodness served as a foil to Sila's thirst for revenge against the villains.
The show was an emotional roller coaster for me, and I enjoyed the melodrama. The cast did a fantastic job, and almost all actors portrayed their parts with so much intensity. For me, Tor Leeluttanakajorn really carried the show. He completely got the character, Sila, a man who initially would stop at nothing to get his revenge. His expressions were on-point, and he emoted his scenes so well, including the crying ones. Sila was suave, sexy, charismatic, and had a swagger that Tor pulled off very nicely.
Also noteworthy were Noon Wattanajinda as Mam and Ann Siriam as Sida. They were perfect counterpoints to each other. Mam was the Queen, and I love her character. She was gorgeous, smart, and strong, not only mentally but also physically. That woman can kick ass! Noon portrayed Mam perfectly as a woman with so much dignity even though she was a mistress. Sida was the witch, so wicked with no conscience. I truly hated her, but Ann was excellent in her acting, being so deliciously evil. The two dads were also awesome albeit they showed their support much later in the show.
I can understand why there were many negative comments about the FL's character. Often, she was just the wide-eyed, crying prop. Ferny Nopjira, as Minta fitted the pretty picture of innocence and unbelievable naiveté that distracted Sila from his mission. Her acting was OK but I don't know if it was the writing that prevented her from displaying a wider acting range. They did not even give her good dialogues to work with.
I would have rated this show a perfect 10 if they had written in a better FL character. That said, since the romance was just part of the plot, I found it acceptable that Minta had little character development. Especially when it was her caring heart and her unwavering love for Sila that helped him find peace in the end. There was definitely chemistry between the OTP, and the height difference was so cute.
I have to admit that I loved how Sila carried out his revenge against the villains. He was intelligent and rational; most times, he was one step ahead of the game. Sadly, he did suffer a devastating loss as a consequence of his actions. When that happened, I cried buckets, especially since I did not expect the plot to take such a turn. The villains truly deserved to be hated, and I enjoyed seeing them get their retribution.
The OST was great, fitting for the various scenes. It is actually the first Thai lakorn OST that made it to my regular playlist.
All in all, it was a great show, and the rewatch value is high.

I really did like the first half of this lakorn. But I think it got a little to cheesy, because it was for the fans and it was a little annoying. I would've rated the storyline an 8 or 8.5 but because of Sila and Min's cheesy relationship after episode 18, I made it a 7. It began dragging and I just remember fast forwarding. I also think they took too long in getting Sida to surrender. I really loved the beginning of the lakorn though, as I love a good slap-kiss and Sila's revenge. The one thing I'm upset that HJS 2019 didn't do is include Sila and Mee's playful relationship. I really enjoyed their very flirtatious but also platonic relationship.
Tor portrayed Sila well. The vengeful man who meticulously brought down a whole family without them knowing he was that scarred child they abused. Just him staring, you can feel his anger and resentment. Ferny is still getting there on acting, but I could tell she improved towards the end. Noon and Ann were also good choices as they portrayed strong badass women who protected their loved ones.
I love Yes'Sir Day's song, or the main title song and Get You Out by Atom. But this lakorn had a new song EVERY episode, and some came from Getsunova, which I love. But I was frustrated that they didn't recycle the new songs (only a few). That's why music is a low rating. Unlike other people, I dreaded Tor's Hua Jai Kaung Tur and I wished they would've kept Bie's Hua Jai Kaung Tur. The biggest comparison from the 2007 version and the 2019 one is the OST.
When rewatching Hua Jai Sila 2019, I find myself watching the beginning more than the ending of this. And I don't think I'll really rewatch the whole lakorn but rewatch clips on YouTube (as I do that for all of my lakorns). I really do love this lakorn and it was probably one of my favorites of 2019.

Basic Information: Definitely would recommend this drama to anyone who’s a fan of lakorns. It isn’t exactly a full on slap push kiss kind but has mild violence and force used in it so if you’re sensitive to that than don’t watch. I personally think the actors did a great job and portrayed their roles as they should have. A very detailed spoiler summary of how the show starts: Like almost all t.v shows there are many different problems going on from other characters so I’ll just give the general concepts of them
Sila-(P’tor) was abused, disregarded, and hated by his stepmother during his childhood because he is the son of a mistress which leads him to become cold but I wouldn’t say heartless. During a childhood incident his stepmother kind of insinuates him to fall in a lake and drown. The thing is that he didn’t drown and his birth mom’s friend actually saves him and raises him to become a rich and successful club owner. Later once he is at the peak of his success he starts a mission to get revenge on his stepmother and stepbrother in many different ways which interfere with other main characters’ lives. (BTW if you’re wondering he’s in the Thai boy band 9by9)
Mintra-(Min) She’s portrayed as a very selfless and mostly strong willed character. She is the neighbor of Sila’s stepmother and was his best friend until she heard he had “died”. Like Sila she had a hard time with her stepmother and stepsister. She was never regarded equal to her stepsister in her mother’s eyes but is shown as her father’s favorite. When Min and Sila meet she instantly feels familiar with him and recognizes his ring/chain that Sila had gotten from his birth mom but Sila pretends to not recognize her because of his revenge mission.
Mam- She’s a headstrong, powerful, and caring woman who basically mothered Sila (She’s personally my favorite character). She also doesn’t like Sila getting involved in his revenge plan because she knows his history with them and wants him to be safe. She clashes with Sila’s stepmother a lot and has personal issues of her own with close relative of Sila’s stepmother. Mam is actually in an illicit relationship with the husband of that relative which creates its own problems for her.
Kwan- Min’s very overachieving and entitled sister. Kwan has a “good” relationship with her sister but later it turns to hate for she gets jealous of Sila and Min. I would call her the typical second female lead antagonist with some twists because her story is a little more complex than the stereotyped second female lead. Kwan is brought into the story because Sila’s stepmother pushes her son to make Kwan his wife but Kwan is the “no ordinary girl” because she strives for someone hard to get that can really entice her. That’s when Sila comes in to pursue Kwan so that he can anger his past family. Of course Kwan eventually falls for Sila and you can figure the complications that arise.
Sitha-Sila’s stubborn manipulative stepmother. She’s a really tough character but is the stingy “May I talk to the manager” type. She just doesn’t let anything go and flaunts her power everywhere. After her husband died she does does everything in her power to ruin Sila’s life even when he’s an adult despite not knowing who he is (Sila hides his identity from his stepfamily for the sake of revenge). She only strives for the best and hates anyone related to clubs or involved in prostitution because of her personal experiences. She just makes a lot of enemies and is really two-faced.
Sawit-(Ae) Oh boy this guy needs some milk. He just doesn’t know how to control himself. Ae is Sila’s stepbrother and also hurt Sila in his childhood. He’s quite stuck up and always attempts to please his mother but ends up failing all the time. He’s just portrayed as the “ douchebag” perverted snob who only wants girls and money. He is mainly brought in the plot to court Kwan but just ends up in debt. His character really has no true aspects to it so he’s only there as a stereotype and side antagonist to the main one.
Finally I’ll end it with some additional comments that would help you but if you don’t care then ok
Sila is pretty good looking
All of the characters that belong to the club side of the plot are actually quite smart and use their common sense unlike a lot of other Asian drama characters
Min is only enduring the injustice against her because she wants the best for her father
Min and her family belong to aristocracy but her family slowly lost their reputation because of her fathers condition
There are some intense scenes and one intimate one so if you’re not here for that then let that be my warning to you ????
There is mild abuse
The very beginning starts kind of unusual (to me personally)
Sila an Min are not the focal point of the story in the beginning but their relationship does get more attention towards the middle
Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk

Nothing to complain about it
Everything is perfect, from story to acting to ost and also production. This is the first time I feel the exact vibe of bossy ML. Surprisingly, it’s from a lakorn, not from a Chinese drama. Besides, I also like acting and visual of Ferny, who has played the character Mintra. To summarise, chemistry between FL and ML is wonderful.I really don’t have anything to complain. I will consider rewatching this lakorn. This lakorn is really a success!!! I am not sure if I can watch any lakorns if the actor, actress cooperated with different people. I just need time to get out of the film.

Wow! I loved it!
Oh my goodness. I don't even know what to say about this drama. The last time I really watched a Thai drama was The Ugly Duckly Series and I only enjoyed the Perfect Match ones. Oh, and Kiss Me and Full House. Otherwise, I really don't watch many Thai dramas. And it's funny because I was born there.Anyways, moving on. I came upon this drama like 3 days ago when YouTube suggested a music video. I watched that and then went to watch the drama and oh man, it was amazing! I loved every minute of it.
I just want to say that everyone fits their characters PERFECTLY! I was amazed at how well this drama and story were. The ML and FL were good together and might I say, the ML was *cough* hot *cough.
If you enjoy romance with some revenge, well, this really is the drama for you. There really isn't an annoying love triangle beside the step-sister, wanting to take revenge on the ML after finding out the truth.
The story was amazing. Each episode left me hanging for the next one that I just kept on watching. This drama gave me so much feeling. Episode 13 made me cry all because it was sweet and feelings just built up inside me.
And yes, there is a happy ending. I got worried a bit there because those last 3 episodes were quite intense. But in the end, I'm glad it was a happy ending and in the long run, everyone learned something new and it was just a good drama.
I think the reason I liked it so much is that both the FL and ML were both adopted and the ML dwelt on the past, wanting revenge. For someone who was adopted, this hit me hard because yes, when I was younger, I did dwell a lot on the past as to "why" my parents didn't come for me sooner? There were a lot of questions I asked that dwelt on the past, but I also learned that I can't change the past and I have to move forward. If I could change the past, I would, but since I couldn't, I had to deal with the present and live with it, knowing that others have had it worse than myself.
So yeah, this drama is so good that it would be something I'd re-watch.
Though, this drama is a little on the mature side with all the killing the beating, just a heads up for those who aren't used to this kind of drama.
I was watching episode 6 when I was like... WOW! I am SO loving this drama!

I couldn’t stop rewatching it lol ?
Firstly this is my first review. So uh I might be all over the place.sorry about that 😭Ok let’s start/ when it comes to Thai dramas they tend to be exaggerated and dramatic.
Yes if u watch the first episode you’ll feel the same thing towards this drama. But it gets better, don’t judge it based on the first episode. The story line was amazing as episodes went by. It all started coming together. Oh yeah let’s talk about the rewatch value. Oh my goodness I couldn’t stop rewatching it..... I don’t normally rewatch a drama right after I finish it. But I missed the cast so much that I just had to rewatch it a bunch of times to satisfy my poor greedy heart. Talking about the cast, the acting was perfect, the main leads killed it with their acting. And finally the ending was satisfactory and happy. Idk if I should put a spoiler tag because I Said the ending was happy Ig I should than.
Anyways pls watch it, it’s totally worth your time.

For 15 years our Male Hero, the night-club owner Sila Wisaetworawade have waited for a right time to start out his quest for revenge. He is respected and feared by everyone underneath and over his status, and has come to be a mastermind in both business and crime. He makes a deal with his aunt Mam, that if the villains still doesn`t get their karma and continues to murder people,he will wait no longer to take a step to create that karma against them himself. Its his step-mother and half-brother he wants to punish...and in turn that quest for revenge also turns into an obsession. The only one who stands in his way, is his reunion with his child-hood friend and the only human being who always treated him with kindness, the now bold and bright architect Mintra Kanaseegoon who finds his very resemblance to her once a dear child-hood friend Tor. Sure they are the same persons she is stubborn with insisting that its the same Tor who drowned to death that same horrific night. But in this journey of wills and fights...the bond between Sila and Mintra surfaces into a blooming love neither of them could ever resist.
Every episode meant a lot to me, and to watch the character developements of Sila is a trip i could never get tired of. Tor`s performance as the cold-hearted,ambitious,deceptive seducer and a gamer as Sila is sexy, charismatic and beautiful all at the same time. After seeing Tor`s performance in the romantic fanatsy comedy "Leh Lub Salub Rarng" in a supporting role, a saw a lots of potential from him as a actor and entertainer...and damn how happy i was for him to prove that potential in a as complex Anti-hero role as Sila in "Hua Jai Sila". He carried on a weight of pain and loneliness that showed in Sila`s eyes. He had lost everything because of his step-mother...even his own identity after she tried to kill him. He is like a hell-bent bitter man that are suffocated in this world of principles and glamour he now lives in. I love that his aunt Mam was the one who could bring true warmth to this cold-hearted young man...and as he said:she was the reason he could live on and not get full head mad and self-destructive. But in the mean time his beloved soulmate Mintra is the only one who could distract him, capture his mind in a sense no one else could, fill him with real happiness and make him open his heart for the whole world to see. She became his heart, and without her he would never be able to live.
Ferny`s acting as Mintra is honest. She showed how naive and selfless Mintra are, and how supportive and protective she is of her family. Her devotion to her evil half-sister despite the abusiveness and harsh bullying she receives from her, Mintra never wavered in her love for her. She is indeed a curious creature who takes decisions without thinking, which always gets her in trouble...but that`s the idea of giving more drama to the whole story i guess. She spends many episodes of hating Sila, because he is the result of her unhappiness, but i am glad that when she fully understands him..she stick to his side and never leaves him no matter what. These two people comes from the same backgrounds, both being born because of an affair. The bond is there the second they reunites many years later...and the undenyable amazing chemistry between Ferny and Tor is also one of the reasons this show has come to be such a fascinating experience. Every dialuge, touch, kiss and glance between them as Sila and Mintra are gold to the extreme. I am NOT kidding about that!
As for the villians...OH MY GOD what a despicable psychopaths the step-mother and the half-brother was! No wonder Sila hated them to the death and wanted to make them suffer blood! Both mother and son were heartless, narcissistic, black-hearted murderers who looked down on everyone. While i also think the son deserved his ending 100 %, i found the character of the evil step-mother Sida (played by Siriam Pakdeedumrongrit) was really well-developed and had a depth as she indeed in a way was a unique sort of villian. I also have to mention what a powerful Siriam acted as Sida and how perfectly she showed the mightyness and evilness of Sida. She is a pride and strong woman who is a surviver and fighter in her heart. All for wrong reasons of course, but she is a woman who however evil...do appreciate goodness. She herself admits that she lost her heart the moment she found out that her husband had an affair and has a bastard child with that mistress. She points out that Sila`s mother and aunt both are dead peacefully, while she still has gone on living with a dying soul and tormented heart. Sida herself is a well-made villain herself too, and while i do not condone her for what she has done...she does indeed get the punishment she fully deserves. I just have to mention again how wonderfully the actress acted as Sida- a worthy villain indeed.
Great acting by everyone in the whole cast, skill-ful directing and wonderful story-line that develops in a different way than how the older version did.I also love the background music, especially "I need to get you out of my head" and the old song (that is from the older version that also shows in this 2019 version sung by Tor) " Hua Jai Kong Ter".This is a slap-kiss romantic thriller drama...so expect lots of forced kissess, burning chemistry, sexy romance, murder, games of win or take, jealousy, heart-break, badass sexy hero...and a brave heroine who dares to love him.!

This is the first straight, serious lakorn I have ever watched. Is it me or the plot really flows well? I am used to J & K dramas and I was expecting something will appear out of nowhere so this was indeed refreshing. It was a good series until in the middle. Sila hates how people berates his aunt and his business but isn't he too much with Min? He keeps on pulling and dragging her here and there - too much physical assault! >_<
I cannot believe even though have skipped 2-3 episode, I'm still on track. Too many unnecessary scenes and then it became draggy a lot in the middle up to the end. Too much face-focusing scene which lasts for almost a minute like c'mon I already memorized their faces esp Sila's. Min's character is annoying as well. She keeps on being nosy to other people's business and when Sila turns back on her, she's now pushing him away.
But if you're after a good story, I can still recommend you this. If you're like me who hates slowwww drama plots, well, Hua Jai Sila is the series for you.

The story is about revenge, typical, I also dont why I got hooked but the flow of the drama got me excited, maybe the fact that I want to see how the antagonists will suffer which is why I also realized, vengeance cant do nothing but made you lose everything you have, especially the people you love and cared for, maybe its also one of the reason I watch this drama to the end, because I want to see the characters grow and learn, forgive and forget, and get a life.
ML acting ia superb! I honestly don't like him the first time I saw but he became one of the reason why this drama got me lol I mean, imagine him in his suit with either his turtleneck or half buttoned sleeves, and they play him walking in slow-mo while wearing damn sunglasses bitch I warn you, plus his action scenes are no joke, he's cool, really cool. With FL, well shes a so so, she got the acting skills but still lack emotions for me especially in the eyes, and damn can you give her more script! other than "P'Tor, You are P'Tor" lol but shes good for me. Their chemistry together is great. I also want to acknowledge the antagonist, that mother and son, will really got you in the nerve, the supports are good too, Bak, Wael, Waen, Mee, great acting as well BUT no one can be better to my Aunt Mam, Im telling you shes the queen bitch and I love her! I mean shes soft but dont mess with her love ones and she just got the role perfect, the way she blew the lines, just everything, I really cried hard because of her, I hate that ㅠ.ㅠ
The bgms are good fit too tho I really hate the sound of the dialect( dont hate me pls!)
Well all in all I really enjoyed this drama, highly recommended! ฅ'ω'ฅ
