Going to apologize to Shi Lang for her brothers' behaviour, Tao Hua ends up confessing about her feelings for Shi Lang in front of everyone, including Shi Lang. She leaves immediately but at home she goes through multiple scenarios of what could happen. Meanwhile, Shi Lang is looking at how he feels towards Tao Hua. They decide to go on a date but it ends badly when her brothers and Shi Lang's cousin Shi Xue start fighting, though sparks start between Shi Xue and Chen Cheng.
