I had enjoyed the main lead to be smart not typical in the "jealous of other people looking at my husband" way and this ep was very annoying and uncomfortable to watch without skipping some of these moments, The whole protective/jealousy usage of insecure relationships displayed in this episode is disparaging and make me rethink the how and the intent of the characters written.

Politic side about to go off!!

[I'm rewatching this drama]I'm a Korean history major and something I've always noticed and something even my professors have said, is that fusion sageuks like this never show a good side of politics, they mainly focus on the romantic plot bc that's their purpose at the end of the day. And it's true, there are only a few I've been also able to enjoy the political side of it, and this is part of that list of dramas.Honestly, the way they carried out this episode was brilliant, instead of him actually getting his memories back or the Magistrate recognising him, they didn't go cliche and had the person who had tried to k*ll him, take him back to the palace. Genius, in my opinion. Now, of course as episodes 11-13/14ish develop, we're gonna see the two main leads struggling for each other. I can't wait.
