Ohmygod I loved this drama so so so much!!!it was an amazing mix of brotherhood, romance, competition, and the growth youngsters who chose an unconventional path!
I loved how new it felt back then with the entire esports set and the age gap between the leads.
it had all kinds of characters and each one of them such a unique and deep background portrayed perfectly. all the incidents and play of fate felt so exciting and real and their victory felt like my own!
I recommend this for sure if you haven’t watched it yet

A drama which can ACTIVATE ur emotions!! HIGHLY RECOMMEMNDED!!!
i have watched a lot of dramas ... a lot of dramas have good stories , good acting , good osts and production...but there are fewer dramas which can ACTIVATE ur inner emotions , like for me its very rare to find such a drama which makes me happy , a drama which can make me cry, a drama in which i am smiling , laughing and crying like crazy...
In this drama i didnt cry much at emotional scenes , dont know why but really while watching the whole drama i was smiling like crazy... i am personally a very big fan of Yang zi ..as ofcourse after watching Ashes of love who can forget her
but its my first time watching Li xian and as expected he didnt disappoint me... and the all other actors were also amazing..
I am personally very satisfied with the acting of all the actors and ofcourse the osts of this drama were so PLEASANT ..
In short, i really loved this drama alot ... u can say one of the best ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED..!!!

The storyline is interesting because of the CTF competiton aspect which is an original base, and even if the "lets fight for our dream" was a little over dramatic in my opinion, the character development was amazingly subtle and human.
Its not only a romance between bright girl - cold guy, its portrayed like a relationation in which two people learn to really love each other.
And i was SO GLAD that the female lead wasn't stupid and embarassing for ONCE !
Yes she is young, bright and pink but she doesnt embarass herself only for the male lead to find it cute during 40 episodes .
She still has her composure and maturity.
The acting was overall very good, not as dramatic or awkward as some of the previous chinese dramas i've seen so its easy to get into the story.
The side characters are very funny, and even if the whole bromance aspect was a little overdone in my opinion, their story is still very interesting.
I laughed SO HARD at all the ridiculous situations in the club with the kids and also the interactions with team solo.
Anyway worth watching for sure !

'Cutesy' story with lots of flashbacks.
Overall, the whole is cutesy romance with the usual pinch of breakup and 2nd lead, clingy FL and stoic ML. The actress tries to play the 'cutesy' FL but somehow for me, she doesn't fit that image. FL's character is a genius but lacks a lot in life experience, which given her age is true. This was my first cdrama which did bring me into watching cdramas back in 2019 but rewatching it again now makes me point out stuff which the younger me would have ignored. The FL gets stalkerish in the start and God trying to be 'cutesy' is so frustrating to watch. Plus I don't know who was her stylist but her clothes almost look like a 4 year old dressed her up. The flashbacks also made it a bit boring. The flashbacks were too long and frequent. I get that it helps understand the ML and his old team, but their frequency and length made me skip those, as they had the same story overall. My favourite parts were those which had the whole team together and Wu Bai. Wu Bai's interactions with TN were sweet and with HS were comedic. Overall not a bad series, but the 'too cute' FL was a bummer for me.Was this review helpful to you?

I don’t think I’ve ever paused so many times while watching a drama before just to cry tears of joy, sadness, relief, excitement and the occasional second hand embarrassment. The amount of chemistry between HSY and TN is irrevocably beautiful to the point you’d expect them to be married in real life.
The story explores the past and future of professional e-sport players (ctf) Team Solo and their new teams SP and KK. How they navigate through life and their careers with the pain they’ve felt in the past and how they eventually learn to overcome it. Don’t get me started with the beautiful character development this drama created especially with HSY. with every episode you could see his cold heart slowly warm up to the people around him especially TN. Though I would’ve liked to see a lot more of of Wu bai and hoped he’d be more than a supporting cast the drama was still absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t have it any other way

The story is quite interesting and every episode makes me even more curious of what will follow. The downside is that the flashbacks are quite boring and takes too much of the screen time. Aside from the flashbacks, everything is just PERFECT!! Highly recommended to those who like romcom dramas. You'll have a good laugh XD

i really like this drama.. this drama really makes me become carried away, when the sad part of me to cry, when funny i laugh and romantic when i smile to myself.of all the Chinese dramas that I watched go go squid drama is the first drama that made me carried away in the drama.
after I watched it out I could not escape this drama, i can't forget this drama and move on this drama.
drama. my favorite songs in this drama are: 1. A Nameless Person (Chen Xueran), 2. Give To The Future (Li Xian) & 3. Milk Bread (Yang Zi). Everyday i listening and singing this 3 songs.
for the male lead is also very handsome, I fell in love with him. Han San Yan's character in this drama really makes a all woman fall in love with him.
Han San Yan's character seems to be the dream of women. has a cool appearance, handsome face, cool face, not clever in expressing his feelings, and stiff , but far from the appearance that he showed in front of friends han san who had very gentle feelings, caring, understanding, polite and kind.

I am not a fan of the Love at the first sight thing so while there were moments, especially in the beginning were I would have liked to shake Tong Nian and tell her to please behave a bit more reasonable and don't do some of the things she did, and the relationship was not perfect, I still had a lot of fun watching this.
It made me laugh so many times. Of couse we had the self sacrificing "I will pretend to not like you for your own benefit" in it for a short while, which really annoyed me, this is just something I will never understand and like in a drama, but thankfully that went by fast enough for me to ignore. The couple was essentially really cute.
I just loved all the funny, cute and amazing minor characters. They made me love this story just so much more^^ I fell in love with the whole K&K team and would have liked for them to have much more screentime , since everyone was so adorable and it was always fun to watch them.
I also really liked the relationships we had in this drama in general, not just the romantic ones but also the friendships. The K&K team and their friendship was always great to watch but also the girls, though I would have liked to see a bit more of that.
What I was sad about, was the fact that we didn't see more of the relationship between Yaya and Mi Shao Fei, those two were so cute and I really wanted to see more of them.
I also have to say, I loved the setting of the drama. The E-sports part of the drama was so much fun to watch and made it really interesting. While the romance played a big part in it, the drama was more than just the romance, with all the competitions and story revolving around the E-sports aspect of it.
All in all it is a fun, cute and easy to watch drama without to much unneeded and unrealistic drama. And it is not just about the romance but quite a bit more which is something I always enjoy.

Living up to its hype and i started this drama purely because of the e-sport genre and plot, not knowing any of the cast, and it has been the best decision ever to watch this drama.
when you thought this is basically a rom-com drama in an e-sport based and pinch of competition then you are defnitely wrong.
The whole story is full of the balance of romance, comedy, competition, friendship, family, brothership, youth, dream and fighting spirit. AND definitely those handsome faces :)

Disappointing and kinda creepy
The FL being so child like is very hard to take bordering on improper relationship with the ML. Dresses like a toddler acts like a 13 yr old but somehow spent her teen yrs in university and has dual majors in advanced studies. So throughout the whole thing it made me feel very uncomfortable and creepy. Also the hacker world of computing and program developers would definitely understand each others work and the ML not being able to operate his phone is a dumb take too. she developes a training program they don't use. They attempt to show bits of her work but it i9s a footnote. She is' brilliant' but reduce her to a fan girl always talking like a 13 yr old. Their intimate scenes are disturbing too, he is agressive and controlling not inexperienced. I think it's hard for this male actor to play an sexually inexperienced male.
